Do any of the top trims have heated/ac rear seats?

Ok. Nice. One thing I didn't even think to check, until my 8-year old daughter asked why her seat doesn't have it!

You could always add it yourself.
I put heated front seats in my 2014 DC.
Just put the on/off switches to where you can see them so they won't be left on..

You're going to have to trade in now...

Looks like the platinums, 1794's and capstone's have it based on a Canadian graphic I came across/saved awhile back. I'm in the US, but it still came in handy when I was looking to buy.

I have had that thought a few times. This truck was bought primarily for tax purposes so there is a good chance I'm only going to have it for a year. Then I'll buy the loaded one I want!

I was thinking about that. Did you buy factory for a trim level above what your DC was? Or, 3rd party option?

I bought that same hog ring kit to put seat heaters in the other half’s Rav4 and turns out they don’t use hog rings anymore. The newer tundras may be the same, the Rav had these weird little clips:

My fingertips were not happy with me after releasing all those clips in my 30something degree garage

How did you figure out how they worked without first breaking a couple of them?

I figured they had to release somehow, and just started prying at them with my fingers. I could see that they were just plastic so I didn’t want to jab at them with a screwdriver and break something

Looks like the rods would need to be pushed down for the clips to be able to release. IOW if you just got frustrated and pulled something would break. Good job not letting that happen!

Test out the platinum and 1794 seats before you trade, they're harder than limited softex seats. Personally not my favorite at all

I got the softex 8-ways seats as part of a package with my SR5 Off Road and I am quite happy with them.

Softex seats are different than leather seats in platinum and 1794. And the heated/cooled hardware inside of the seats make it harder too

Mine have heating but not cooling. Could probably DIY a cooling solution with some PC CPU or case fans and a switch. Hmmmm...

All I'm complaining about is that the 1794 and platinum seats are hard :(

Having/had both, I agree the Plat Leather seats are not as comfortable as the Limited Soft-Tex. Both my trucks have/had the Heated & Cooling seats. Had the Limited for 1yr and traded for Plat, kinda miss that truck.

    Omg... Sorry to hear this!

I test drive the softex seat which was comfy, but my leather 1974 seat is too hard :(

Agreed, Softex is most comfortable. Capstone included with Platinum/1794 seats are way too firm. Leather's are beautiful and soft, but not comfortable at all.
