Him being a prior stripper, he’s used to nights. There’s no money to be had during the day.

Nada. It's just the schedule. Thing is, we are paid really well. I cannot complain, but I wouldn't mind making a few extra dollars on nights because that hitch gets a little less OT than the day shift hitch.

If they close at 5 hopefully they open early, so I'll hit it in the morning. But, if not I can get up at 3pm and be fine .... I just may not make it passed 6am in the morning!

I understand that it's based on the rods and cones of our ocular make up... But, the bottom line is that if my brain is able to receive more data to process and respond to by using an amber/yellow light then that's what I'm using... Plus all of these very bright LEDs are create a ton of reflective glare in wet conditions (which we get a lot of).

This is going to be an age thing, but back in the day Interstates used high pressure sodium lights at overpasses, etc. because they gave drivers a better view during inclement conditions. For anyone that was around then, they put off a very light pinkish/orangy hue (kinda like a softer solar octane :D) and visibility was much better than standard streetlights!

This stuff is crack. Dunno why the Costco version tastes better than the exact same thing you can get at a grocery store, but it does.

I add fresh ground pepper and wing sauce to kick it up178A9130-F56F-42E1-984E-C4977A6ECD8D.jpg

Definitely not. They are one my of my favorite purchases. Sooo much better than the regular style. They don't get all tangled up, if strapping something awkward where you only have one hand free you can press the button to tension it up, and you never run into the situation where you didn't pull out enough slack before tightening and getting too much on the spool like regular ones.

I've had some for several years and they still work just as good as new.

If we ever meet I'll teach you the ways of the ratchet strap. If properly stored and used, they work fine.

Keep those vile old fashioned things away from me!!!! Lol some things I just wont ever go back to. Like oil changes, I'll never not have an oil drain valve and vehicle specific funnel ever again.

Hey... coming from the dude who likes wearing board shorts indoors under bright lights ;)... plus that job paid for me to retire before 50 :D

On a side note, you are correct on that last point ...

If you're gonna swing the hammer for funds, best to do it at night, otherwise you end up doing it for the senior crowd, and they just don't tip as well as the drunk bachelorette parties chicks do.
