Without cutting anything off I want to leave it stick for now but want a deeper and louder sound

Put one of the light up tips on and you will need earplugs to prevent the laughing from blowing out your eardrums.

Won't a more aggressive exhaust note just make it that much harder to hear those subs you're going to put in, or is this all part of the plan: Make as much noise as possible to get attention? :D

In all seriousness, people tend to shake their heads in disappointment when folks roll by with obnoxious exhaust. If you're going for a slightly more assertive tone, some folks on here have had good results removing the resonator, but since you said 'not cutting anything off', maybe just replacing your muffler with a flowmaster?

I realize you're new, but for us 1st gen folks, as it appears you are also, see this thread. It should probably help, and is readily available using the search and ticking the box to 'search this forum only'.

A 2" pencil tip will sound different than a 24" long 3" echo tip, assuming there's an exhaust note to work with at all. Tundra factory exhaust has a very, very muted tone. Not much to work with, unlikely to hear much difference with, just the tip. :rimshot:

When I bought mine it had an awesome sound. Figured out a week later that was because it had a 4" hole rusted in the top of the muffler of all places (where you couldn't see it). Replaced it an now the truck is just how I like it, the loudest thing on it is the ticking of the fuel injectors.

Get out ye olde hole saw and have fun.
