I think you can find equally as good options for half the price of the OEM.

I went with Tyger brand for mine and I like them. Run the same brand on my Tacoma so have 7 years of testing them. There are tons of options out there though.

I was shopping for a 21 last year and was dead set against these running boards because I thought they were out dated, but the one I found had everything I wanted and the classic running boards too. I figured worse case, I could take them off and get something different if I did not like them.
I am glad I did not take them off as they have protected my body sides from rocks and road debris, and both my wife and I use them every time we are in the truck. I would not go with the tube style steps but may go with something like a Go Rhino RB20 if I did not already have the classic running boards.

I think I'm going to go with the OEM Classics. Tubes are out as I can see one of us slipping an getting tangled between the board and truck. The boards with steps hanging down just not my style. Does the $402 sound like the best deal?

I liked the function of the boards, but missed the ground clearance and the look without. Rolling without rn

A bit odd that we all have Cements.

I have young kids and a short wife, I went with the OEM boards that look like what you are calling the classics.

I like them. I especially like that they don't rust like most of the aftermarket ones that I see, and unlike tube steps, they actually protect the truck from rocks and road salt.

I bought my 2018 used (an Arizona truck) and these boards were on it. I’m 71 and love them. I think they are OEM but not sure. They are solid aluminum, no abs plastic anywhere. On past Tundras I have had the wide, oval shaped stainless ones, the narrow chromed tube ones and the Predator steps and these here are my favorite for functionality. AND YES…ANOTHER CEMENT TUNDRA…LOL! 6F643F23-C5AA-43EF-BAE5-560DFF55E49C.jpg9629940C-49D1-4535-9BA4-106D80FD87FD.jpg
