Has anyone installed leds underneath the truck or running boards to aide in lighting at night, that link to unlock/locking truck lights?

Also looking for a convex mirror to add onto the side mirrors, not a cheapo 2" round one, but hopefully after 1 year of being in production someone makes a fancy one that is shaped to the corner of the side mirrors

Lastly the interior shifter trim piece is high gloss, I will either be vinyl wrapping or plastidip it to get rid of the gloss shine.

The fake vents in the front underneath the headlights, I think I will mount up some LEDS into those slots for some more DRL

Any other mods you guys have in mind that are around $100 or less?

how is $100 in gas a modification to your truck? Great addition to the thread. Why is this forum so against modifications, ppl dont even have things to add and just spew nonsense.

My next mod will also be figuring out a way to prevent rocks from flying through the exposed grills and hitting all those radiators, I have ridden motorcycles and this happens quite often, looking at some grills - the TRD OR or Sport ones have huge honeycomb holes

The build sections has the best modifications.
I’ve stopped posting in the what did you do today threads and just created a build thread.

Useful things for less than a hundred bucks:

A tire plug kit under the seat.

A Blue Sea fuse box under the hood.

12v lighter outlet in the bed. Better yet, get rid of lighter outlets altogether and mount Anderson Power Pole connecters anywhere the might be useful.

A state park sticker on the windshield.

A receiver mounted clevis for dragging Fords off the road.

    Fumoto valve.

A Clamptite tool and a spool of lock wire.

Dude…need to switch to decaf maybe? Obviously a little joke. If he can find a full tank of gas for under $100 somewhere, well hell I’d love to know where to find that “mod”.;)

I believe the Seat Jackers are a great mod for >$100. While they're not for everyone I sure feel the difference in a positive way. My driver seat feel so much better than before being raised up in the front.

Nope. Up until the last year or so, I worked in oil and gas. Winter is go time up here, since the ground is frozen allowing access into areas that are otherwise cut off. No time for holidays and snowbirding.

We're close to $5/gal most places in Canada and $6/gal in some areas.

    Yes to both.

We could save a ton by not selling our crude to the US for refining, then buying it back at inflated prices. We should be refining our own crude and could actually be nearly entirely energy independent, but Canuckistanis in general are anti-industry, anti-progress, anti-capitalism and anti-freedom. They'll vehemently oppose the building of any new refineries.

There's also almost 30 cents per liter in taxes on fuel, and then you pay sales taxes on top of that. We literally pay taxes on taxes in this banana republic. Then you have certain areas like the Vancouver Regional District in BC that add on a bunch of taxes to fund their underused, barely functional, crime-ridden public transit system. They pay an additional 30 cents per liter iirc for that nonsense.

Gas is averaging $1.19 per liter where I live. Remove our bullshit taxes and we're actually within spitting distance of what you pay. The Vancouver area is around $1.60 per liter.

I'll be a little pedantic, but make no mistake that I think gas prices are high and suck big time! Being a fellow Albertan I also hate tax on tax on tax.

After converting our gas prices from CAD to USD, they range from 3.34-4.45USD ($1.20-$1.60/L, at time of writing 1CAD = 0.723USD).

My mistake, I didn't even notice the 3rd gen notation, I just saw the best mods under $100 title. The seat is probably is not an issue on the 2022
