Top mods under $200

Good morning everyone,

There was a stickied thread in the forum I used to frequent for my previous FCA pickup, that listed mods under $100 that people liked, could we start something like that here? Post links with the items too. Changed to 200, due to inflation :/

These are good when you think your truck is through, then you find a few more cheap mods to do so that you are never really through

I'll start:

My truck has 200 miles and my only mod is a black ice air freshener (even though I'm waiting on 4k of parts to arrive).

I feel like if you just raised it to $200 it opens a lot more mods. For instance wireless center console charger $160, Fortin Evo One remote start $160, OEM key fob tailgate lock $160, all weather Husky floor mats $135…etc

 

Today's $200 is yesterday's $100. :-(

@ToyoMafia slap on the rear window is the #1 mod under $200

Wireless CarPlay adapter comes in just under $200

Anytime front/rear camera kit gets used daily by me - looks like it’s just over $200 but sometimes you can find a 10% discount code

Relocate the rear window switch to the center console area will run you under $100 for the 3D printed switch holder and the extension wire harness (also a convenient place to put the camera switch).

AJT interior chrome delete will run you less than $200

Amazon half-console safes can be found under $200

For sure the OEM power tailgate lock

Gecko bed lights if you have any sort of cover

 

I’d be interested in this chrome delete you speak of. Would you mind posting a link? I assume this is the interior chrome pieces like the vent bezels and the blinding gear shift and cup holder trim? I was thinking about pulling them out and wrapping them. That’s awesome if someone has a “kit” to just get it all done at once. Thanks!

Unistrut bed rails are well under 200$ if your truck didn’t come with OEM.

How do you like the kit? Have you had any issues? Easy to install?

 

I’m also curious if the auto up down feature is only from the driver master switch or? It has to be just the driver switches, right? It doesn’t work from the passenger switches, does it?

Does anyone know of a kit that will use the existing fob to raise/lower windows and auto start the truck?

MESO Customs is also working on their own versions (not out yet), and every so often toyomafia.com will have vent ring covers available too.

 

So, I have the Fortin Evo one and it does the remote start and MAY be able to control the windows if wired up correctly as an auxiliary feature, but the auto up down module does the windows for you from the key fob which is an excellent bonus!

Except the ‘21 don’t have that antenna spot at all…
