Hi guys, this is a great site! Thanks for including me. I'm hoping someone can help me out. My truck starts and kills instantly. Then starts and stays running. I get a MAF fault code and my EFI #2 circuit blows a fuse. I replace the fuse and it runs good for a while. I'm able to erase the code and the CEL light goes out. Couple days later, it does it again. I can tell when that fuse blows because the engine starts to surge or cut in and out. I'm not sure really what it's doing. I installed a new MAF sensor when this started but I couldn't get the code to erase. I can only erase the code if I change out that blown fuse. I'm stumped! If anybody has had these same issues or has any ideas for me I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

If you're blowing the fuse there is a short in the system somewhere. Either a bad part or something in the wiring.

The wiring diagrams can be found here, you'll need to go through the circuit and find the cause.

Had a similar issue. Ended up being a short that only shorted when the truck bounced just right.
