Tuff country seems to make a decent 4.5" lift kit. Does anyone know about it?

Did you have to get new UCA's?
Says must have 4.75" backspacing, I have stock 17"s with 5" backspacing (I think) think those Wil work?

You'd most likely need new UCA's.

Good rule 3" or above needs UCA's.

Yep you'll most likely need new UCA's. Only way you'll be able to run stockies is with a taller knuckle. Problem with that is you'll need new wheels with the proper back spacing to fit.

You'll have to pony up one way or the other.

But wait there is more! Lol I kept going over the kit and it includes upper ball joint spacers. I Googled them. Makes sense now. Part quality seems iffy.

That def looks sketchy. Do they have an option in the kit to provide longer spindles?

Not sure but that pic on Google takes you to a whole forum on this site about spindle spacers. Bump steer is explained well in there as well.

I would look into longer spindles. Usually larger lift applications like RC and Pro Comp come with these. Your truck is only as strong as your weakest link.

There you go. Don't quote me on this but I THINK that the longer spindles will correct the angles of the UCAs when lifting so you could use the stock UCAs. The uppers will run you around 600 - 800 so if I'm not lying its a no brainer.

Not sure if you're dead set on 4.5" of lift but personally I would steer away from any spacer lift. Here are a couple other options comparable in price that I would go with. These will make your truck look great and increase ride quality. Your truck will ride stiffer with the tuff country

Yeah man I appreciate it. I'm familiar with them. I'm sitting on 5100's all the war around. I'm only on the second notch because I don't have new UCAs and didn't want to go without them. I already want more lift lol. I've just never used a drop bracket lift before.
