They were completely plug and play. You remove the stock bowls, remove the window and lock controls and disconnect the harnesses, then you can either route the wires down to the window switch harness behind the door interior skin with it intact, or remove it altogether and it becomes much easier. Hope that makes sense.

UPDATE: found a dongle made for bypass/resistor for the airbag error and ordered Carista OBD2 as it was stated in a forum thread to do a great job removing seatbell warnings/chimes etc and the seat risers ordered and on the way as well. Overall an extra $100 on top of the Planted seat bracket and Vario Seat but so worth it, the seat is like driving a high end sports luxury coupe vs that flat butt hurting factory seat

    Not pic worthy.

Installed Talons rear cat plate which matched up perfectly with my Valhalla front cat plate. PLEASE no comments on the company drama.

Lot's of vehicles "Tundras" getting hit around work and neighboring cities, a group of 4 people were arrested in town for a cat theft ring a week ago. This in a small country town of less than 3k people. Couldn't bring myself to wait another 4-6 months lead time to get the matching rear plate, front was a Christmas gift from the wife last year. Talon's shipped the same day I put my order in and I had it three days later for a weekend install. Paired it with their security bolts, great stuff.

EDIT: Oh yeah! And I disconnected the center dash speaker. Recently replaced the dash sides with Kenwood which was a decent cheap upgrade, after seeing all the posts about disconnecting the center, I tried it and WOW! Best free mod ever.

    Sounds legit

I did the same. From order to delivery was 26 hours and installed in less than 40 hours from ordering.

Talon's is doing well and is an approved vendor.

Glad you got your truck protected! That is the most important thing to do

Just read a lengthy review of this seat and it sure sounds sweet. I’d def get a pair if I had the funds.
Have you had an injury or just want a super comfy seat?

Just wanted super comfortable ride, where i'm at in life I tend to do a lot of driving for recreation and adventure and that factory seat is just not for me. Even 2.5 hour drives from Austin to Houston were not comfortable. My longest planned drive is around 20 hours so def worth it for me. Once I install the risers it's going to go from game changing to life changing, that temp freakout over the height really threw my mood rest of the day.

FBI made a major arrest on 11/3 in New Jersey I believe looking to seize or assets collected over 540 million dollars with connections to theft rings they were getting all the rare metals from as far away as Oklahoma. The dealership I go to here said they have an entire parking lot full of Toyotas waiting months for replacement Cats. Excellent safety install to do!

The site I got it from is https://bradshacks.com i'll post a review once I get it and install it but it's pretty straightforward. He has a video on youtube how he even breaks down how he designed it. I did 2 day shipping so I can hopefully get it before Thanksgiving as I leave to family that morning with my Tundra. $15 plus the $10 2 day shipping so around $24 but absolutely worth it to me.

Tundra seats are OK. Not the most comfortable, but they don't wear your butt out. For example, my longest drive was those 20 hours you've mentioned, I was in Volvo with the seats in the TOP 10 best seats ever easily. However, because the seat wraps around you, you can't really move, which ends up in a very light, but ever accumulating restricted blood circulation. It was not a good experience, at the end of the day I could not feel my butt. Changing seat position didn't help. In fact I was tweaking it all that time.

The longest I drove it Tundra was 11 hours. Sure thing I was tired, but because I could change my posture I was not nearly as worn out as in Volvo after the same 11 hours.

Just $0.02 that initial seat comfort impression could be wrong. Turned out the key for me whether I can move in the seat or not. Very interesting finding after being a Swede lunatic for a decade ;)

I haven't seen/heard anything about disconnecting the center dash speaker. What the reasoning?

The center speaker destroys the audio separation of the front speakers, it basically makes everything mono vs stereo. It's also a low quality speaker and due to it's design, there isn't much available to replace it with. Disconnecting it means I only hear my 2 good quality Kenwoods and they actually seem louder now, I don't know if that is because the center was pulling some of their output or because the center just isn't there anymore. Either way, it only takes like 1-2 minutes to disconnect. Try it out, I wasn't a believer until I gave it a go.

Best way I can describe it is it sounds like the music is around me now instead of in front of me. I can hear things from the right that aren't in the left and vice versa. That's just my experience though, everyone else may not feel the same about it. The difference was immediate on the first song I played.

Interesting. Sounds like it's worth trying at the very least. My big complaint with the whole setup is the speaker volume when I'm on a call. I usually need to have the volume cranked all the way when on the highway and can still barely hear people sometimes. Maybe it's just me, but my hearing is pretty decent. Have you noticed if it's any better/worse on calls with the center disconnected?

I went a little large than what tech12volts offers, someone else on here used these and they do fit. It took a little wiggling around but if you get the back screw barely in and lift up, you can get the front one in also then tighten down. I also used these plug and play adapters which worked perfectly. Links below.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y2FTW4L?ie=UTF8

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VPFWLPK?ie=UTF8

Edit: You will need a wire stripper and a couple wire crimp connectors. These Kenwoods come with bass blockers, you just have to cut the butt connectors off the adapter and connect the bass blockers in-line to them. You'll understand when you see it, took 2 minutes and requires zero skill. Be careful with the clip on the speaker grill closest to the grab handle panel, mine broke on the passenger side. I glued it back on and it's fine but it will break easily. If you aren't OCD, the speaker grill will still stay on fine without it.

Parked my dirty ass next to a new Tremor. Nice truck, and I'm glad to hear that Ford is making major moves to curb warranty work and build reliable vehicles. While it would be nice to have some of the Tremor package features, I would still make the same choice today. :headbang:

I sometimes carpool with a gent who has an F150 Tremor. It’s an extremely nice truck with a nice ride. It’s equipped far better than my SR5 admittedly. I don’t like debt though. So that’s a deal breaker for me.

I don't like the way they look. Not aggressive enough and the "Tremor" nomenclature is a mediocre one at best.
