Had a check engine light show up last night (620ish miles )so I took it into the dealership today. Check engine light was of this morning but took it anyway and while I was there I asked about the charger just to see what they would say.

Told me there was no way to adjust it and the coil is molded into the plastic. Working as designed. I could tell it wasn't the first time he had been asked that question.

Looking forward to the fix here being available!

 

I don't understand the picture, is the face see through with holes? and is the cord on the front?

what happens when you spill something on it?

Yes. This will only work on trucks that came with the factory qi charger/plate for now. You will remove the factory qi charger from the back and replace it with this.

All will be covered in the install video.

I already signed up as interested, but I'm curious if there's a way for me to unplug the LED light portion. I would prefer not to have it if possible.

 

Sorry if this has already been asked, but will the centre screen still indicate Qi charging as it does with the factory charger? If not, will it show any faults or just always be greyed-out as if it's not charging?

if you’re referring to the charge indicator in Apple CarPlay, that’s phone mirroring software. If the phone is charging, it will show on the CarPlay screen.

The OEM qi charger has an LED indicator light next to the phone in the console piece.

I'm not sure if these have been officially released but I am absolutely interested. Dual iPhone charging capacity in my '22 1794 would be a huge upgrade. I would even settle for single phone charging that actually worked...

Took it to work to try on as many different phone models as possible.

Very pleased to report that it worked perfectly on every qi-enabled phone we could find including Apple and Android phones. We even got a set of AirPods to charge on it.
