Yeah I had more problems with mine. The driver's window would stop whenever it felt like it. You also have to cut and splice wires. The 3W is plug and play and you run 1 wire to the battery. The 3W allows you to control the windows with the fob. The AutoLoc does not.

I have the 3W and like it.

Toyota Tundra Window Control Module (low) 2008-2021 for driver side wi | 3Wliners

It only works from the driver's door.
You have to run a line to the battery, everything else is plug and play
Press unlock, lock, and unlock with the remote (or use the door key in the door) will lower all the windows
^ Although it doesn't work well with my after-market remote start/alarm remote
Lock the doors with the remote and the windows go up automatically, works with my aftermarket remote

Does it work on the rear window of a Crewmax?

It does not that I know of. I don't think they have an add on for that rear window.

Gotcha, That's the only window I really want to add auto up to. My two fronts already have it.

What remote start do you have? I just ordered a 3Wliners low module just yesterday and I'm hoping this doesn't interfere with mine.

    I have a compustar.
    As to all the windows down with the remote;
There is something about the timing of pushing the buttons I just can't get it down.
It works sometimes with the Drone mobile app.
I rarely need them all down at once from outside the truck anyway, only like if it is really hot outside.
If I do, I'll use the door key in the door to make them all go down.
It's really not a big deal..

    Everything else works fine.
They go up every time I lock the doors with the remote or app.
If I want them down a little when parked, I hit the remote and they stop.

Although be known the widows don't all go up or down at once.
The rear windows go up, then the front windows go up.

    Good luck..

I wish Toyota did this from factory. I'll be adding this.

Good note to know. I usually swap between the app or the Original Key Fob.

My problem with my Compustar is that every year I bring it in for the annual NYS inspection I have to unplug it from the OB II connection because somehow the computer can't find the truck. I found that out when I had to bring the truck in for the TSS issue 4 years ago, it wasn't connecting to the Toyota laptop. :notsure:

I found that holding the window button in the desired direction seems to make them go up and down and stop their progress when removed. Imagine the convienence

I have the same issue on my 2nd gen.

Must be bc the Compustar requires like a 1 sec delay between button presses in order for it to recognize the signal whereas the factory fob recognizes signal immediately (at least that’s the easiest way to describe why mine doesn’t work properly)

I can make the remote work in 1 out of maybe 50 attempts.
But I have no idea what I did right to make it work..

Same with using the Drone Mobile app, but that's 1 out of 25..:eek2:

It is easier just to walk up and use the key in the door for all auto-down windows in the rare instances when I want/need it..

I just got my order delivered but it didn't have the wiring to the battery... Has anyone else experienced this?
