I have a 2019 TRD Sport with all safety features available. I am replacing the bumper with a CBI Adventure Series Bumper which has provision for 4 parking assist sensors. What should the layout be for my rig having 2 sensors in the stock bumper (outside or inside)? See below. Also, Baha Designs S1 wide cornering fog lights will be mounted to light the surrounding landscape while off-road. Does anyone with a CBI bumper like this have them, and where would they best be mounted to give maximum benefit? CBI winch bumper with grill guard - Copy.jpg

Depends on what you want them to do. From the factory they are mounted toward the outside so that they can warn you as you are swinging the front end into/out of parking spaces. If you'd rather just have warning for something directly in front of you as you pull forward, then use the inside.

All that I’ve seen done on the CBI have been on the outside.

No sensors for me, I went running lights on my Baja bumper.

Any hints or tips on install for this bumper? Did you put the wench on prior to install or post install?

Mine was installed by a collision repair outfit that does lots of these. They put the winch in the bumper first then mounted the bumper. However, I had to buy a 4' pigtail remote extension from Rough Country, the mfg. of my winch and zip-tie it to the bumper so that I would have easy access to plug in the control pendant:
    https://www.roughcountry.com/winch-remote-extension-rs130.html
Also, its far easier to add the fog lights at this time too. I didn't do it until after the bumper was installed and had lots of trouble with this. The installers mounted my stock fog lights and they ended up falling out after a while. Then, I got the Squadron-R SAE amber fog lights from Baja Designs and installed them in front of the fog light apertures but mounted inside bumper. This was very difficult and of my own choice to do it this way, but the lights have never worked themselves loose and sealed the opening where they mount (O-rings from Lowe's to provide seal). Also, I found it was far easier to mount them after removing the front tires (one at a time, of course) to get in behind the bumper.Front wheel removed for access to back of bumper.jpg
