ASAP! It bottoms out just looking at speed bumps, can’t wait for it to all be in. Tomorrow is just nuts and bolts, so it should go smooth. Today 3 rivets fought me.

I'm still waiting for you to finish installing the seats and live well in the SS TRDFerguson so we can go fishing and get way too drunk in the process.

Meh, don't worry about it. I've got a lot of tools and beer, we can make something work.

What's your ratio when you drink those? I've tried to mix bourbon w/coke a few times and just don't care for it, drinking my whiskey neat has been my go to for years. However, I'd like to "soften it" every once in while...

Good amount of ice and 50-60 percent Jack to Coke Zero. I wouldn't waste good bourbon on a mixed drink, but a good strong Jack and Coke is a glorious thing. I also recommend the Coke Zero, taste the same as regular Coke, but no sugar which reduces the hangover.

Ok, hang on a minute; I've gotta try this… I think I've got some Makers lying around for my "waste-able" bourbon, and the wife drinks the shit out of some coke zeros. So I should have those too…

So, two questions: 1) Will Maker's give me an appropriate flavor profile? 2) Just confirming if I go 6oz Makers to 6oz Coke Zero, I should be in the wheel house, right??

Ok, copy that!!!!! Give me a few to find the Makers, and I'll give this a go… If I can't find makers, then it looks like we'll be off to use some Wellers or Blantons… Thank you!!!!!

So the buffet, their well whiskey is basically makers!!!
When I was a young buck, they were 3.25!!!!! Even now I think it’s 4.50 for a makers and coke. You gotta try this place! Hopefully robin or Maria are working when you go in

Ok…. So, not bad!!! I think in the past people have given me shit that was much more diluted; probably 1 or 2oz of liquor to a crap ton of coke … It always tasted very "artificial" to me; anyhow back to the drink!!

So, while good, I'd still prefer to drink (sip) whiskey neat over drinking it this way… Why do people prefer this (I'm not judging here, just trying to understand)…

Also, am I missing anything else that "brightens" the drink up or adds some "punch" to it. I'd imagine people would traditionally add some kind of an acid (lime, orange, etc.), but that seems to take us more toward a cocktail; which again are okay to drink if they're done well, but still not my preference

I tend to drink them like that to extend the evening, cause I drink fast and if it's straight booze, it's too much for me to last 3-4 hours, plus I like a mellow drink while relaxing some times.

Speaking of time, I've had beers since about 11AM and then said drinks this evening, so good night, see you all in the morning.

Sometimes you can soften it with a splash of water. Then later ice cubes(they'll dissolve a bit as you drink). Then just putting liquor in the freezer and drinking cold is easier sometimes than warm. Unless you'd like the warming effect more, then cabinet liquor is good

You have to go to the Buffet at 6 am to get the full experience. I only went there that early a few times. Sometimes it was actually very busy.

Yeah… I'm usually a no ice, open w/a few drops of water to let it breathe, room temp, kinda guy; I try to switch it up, but just don't enjoy it as much any other way.
