    I’d go the supercharged route…

Has anyone figured out how to add a SC to a 2020 without voiding the platinum warranty?

Supercharger & warranty are mutually exclusive.

No not at all, even if you're doing a dyno tune it'll be a lot less than that. Most of us just do a remote tune if you don't want to fuck with it yourself, and it's well under $1000 then and usually any follow on changes are just a couple tweaks to the existing tune so you're not buying a new one out right. I've spent less than $2000 and gone through four different tunes (due to different/improved features), although none of those were on a dyno.

I've got extensive experience with the imax, a supercharged v8 will outrun it all day.

Where the imax shine is the sheer down low torque, it drives like a small duramax without the rattle and maintenance, super smooth and quiet, the exhaust surprisingly sounds good on the inside, I actually don't mind the piped in exhaust and the mpg is very decent, but my experience with them is all on stock tires.

a supercharged v8 may requires more revs, but when under wot, the truck mooooooooooves.

in short, I'm not letting go the s/c v8, it'll go as fast as my wallet allows.

S/C's are one of those rare things in life that work instantly & every time. - like Afrin nose spray.

often I sit back and simply press the gas pedal for no reason other than the sound and fury.

Imagine this, when you are merging on the on-ramp as a responsible citizen, a Mustang 5.0 (Coyotes, not foxbody) is being THAT driver who brings bad name to Mustang owners, we'll call him Don, who likes to wear clothing that says Alpha on it, want to pass you the very first moment the road become straight, Don has typical loud exhaust that you can hear from a block away when you trying to sleep on Saturday night because the driver is lonely, and he believes being obnoxiously loud is his mating call.

You decided, well, I shall protect rest of law abiding citizens on the road. You press the gas pedal more, and bit more, by then Don realize he, cannot bully people around, so he settles down to the flow of the traffic, and you, my friend, is the protector of the road.

All semi trucks drive by blowing their horn thanking you, drivers clap, Jeep Wranglers take their tops off to cheer.

That, is the power of a supercharged v8 tundra.

I had a spreadsheet going somewhere one of these threads. Couple of years ago you could have gotten into a Maggie off 4WPs for ~5800 to your door (assuming CA tax rate). Don’t know if all the coupons and promotions are still there, but it’d be closer to $6300 now with the price increase. Trying to buy a house these days otherwise I’d dive back into my research/tracking and wait for the timing to be correct then pull the trigger

edit: just looked and it’s $7300 right now out the door. If you wait till around Black Friday then it’ll probably be cheaper

So if BF calls around $6500 (which is low side) + tune and other stuff, under $10K should pull it together, though, not sure if that would call for stage 2 or 3....

So I just recently purchased mine. I found a used headunit with a fresh rebuild that was never installed after the refresh. I sourced the Fitkit separately brand new. Doing it this way saved me about $2.5k

Wait, so are we talking about the 5.0 mustangs that run 12.1 second 1/4's bone stock at 120 mph? That Mustang 5.0?

Correct, but you also need to make sure we are talking about the one that did not crash on the way out of C&C..... otherwise that time is void.

From a roll on a freeway on ramp is a pretty perfect situation for a mustang.

Even if the mustang can pull on you slightly in the on ramp scenario, he still will be far from blowing by and will be embarrassed. You would both be going far too fast to stay in the throttle by then.
