Well I decided to finally make a build thread on my truck, starting from when I bought it off my grandma about 3 years ago.

Where it began. 2001 SR5, very few options(no abs, no TRD package, pretty much just an SR5 with tow package).

Started with audio. Kenwood touchscreen, Kenwood 1666s all around. Pioneer 12" sub to replace the drivers side rear seat. Also bought a power seat.

Next up, 2nd gen Dodge tow mirrors, Hellwig AAL, black headlights, a stubby antenna, and I ran a LeBra for a bit.

Then suspension. Bilstein 5100s all around.

    20% tint and AVS visors.

And finally the first iteration of the turbo setup. Had some issues with oil backing up due to the drain line not being big enough.

Painted the grill and got some McFarland decals, because Hell Yeah Brother, and because this bed is going to be replaced eventually. Theres a lot of bondo in it.

Few changes to the turbo. Now has a 5/8" drain line, moved some intercooler lines, hooked up PCV, Power steering, and all the other hoses that are normally on the intake.

Pretty heavy duty seat covers that I found locally for $40. The color is godawful but I needed something durable because I am pretty bad about spilling random crap(Oil, ATF, Coolant, etc).

Mishimoto Radiator. Pretty happy with it, especially for $292. There was an open box one on Amazon so I took the gamble. This is the current state of the truck.

Next up, all of the turbo kit is coming off! I found a TRD supercharger with a Unichip PNP when wandering around my local junkyard.

Waiting on parts right now, and then ill throw it on. If anybody is interested in my turbo setup let me know, once the blower is on I'll make an actual buy/sell/trade listing.

The truck I pulled it off had almost 300k on it, and the Unichip has been on that motor for 19 years. My guess is that blower has been on it since 2001 because I don't think they offered it in 2000. I think at least the nose cone has been rebuilt at some point because there is 0 play in it. I've been running 6psi on this turbo setup, it runs pretty good, but I cant get it to hold gaskets. I've gone through 4 pre turbo exhaust gaskets in under a year.

    Very cool.
Let me know if you get hung up sourcing parts, just went through this and have sources / PNs if needed.

Did you get the pulley spacers and triangle AC bracket from the donor? Aux gas line and Banjo bolt? Shit so many special parts on these installs…

Would recommend changing the blower oil for peace of mind, magnusen has a kit for the MP90.

They recommended half the oil the bottle holds, I put in full bottle based in volume I drained from my unit.

Once up and running I highly recommend a custom tune made a massive difference for me. My unit has 9th and 10th injectors so map likely doesn’t convert over. Also great time to get all injectors cleaned and calibrated, mine were way off.

Hard to find shops that still have the tubing software, otherwise need to buy direct for $600.

anyways let me know how I can help, excited to see another blower on board!

I got the brackets, both idler pulleys, the spacers, pretty much everything. Only part i had to source was the bolt for the second idler pulley because the one on the truck was rounded pretty bad. As for tuning it came with a unichip, I got a USB cable for it so im gonna try all of their 91 tunes.

Oh boy a lot has been done. S/C is in, along with 160* tstat, SNOW progressive water/meth injection(5gph nozzle), 2" front lowering kit from SOS, 2" drop shackle from suspension specialists. Probably a few things i'm forgetting but she rips after some tuning. Much happier with the Unichip than the MAP-ECU that I was running with my turbo setup.

My fastest 1/8th mile pass is an 8.3, with a super hot tune, a ton of timing and dumping SNOW boost cooler in the thing. The daily tune runs about an 8.9 on 20* washer fluid.
