Not with a rider, but I recently took the splash guard off my straight-shaft string trimmer. There is a little - just a little more debris flying off the string, but it cut about 1/4 of my effort and time being able to let more string out, and being able to see better. The end of the string is flying faster at a larger diameter, and I didn't have to adjust angles or wrench my neck around as much to see what I'm doing. That and an Echo SpeedFeed trimmer head (for my Stihl trimmer).

Had a rock tumbler when I was a kid. This makes me want to get one again. That red one (granite?) would polish up nice.

I've got quite the collection of rocks building up and one of these days I will have to buy a rock tumbler. Just been trying not to spend so much money recently and there's already so many things I want to buy lol

Wife and I had just gotten back from Lowe's yesterday, buying a new fridge to replace the 8 years old Kenmore Elite that died (after I'd already spent over $500 trying to put it back in working order), to find there's a leak in the disposal. I'll be at Lowe's again in a couple of hours, spending more money. But I want a new HU and sound deadening, an Icom radio, DD 10", a winch and semi-hidden bumper, three-camera BlackVue security, and I might as well throw in the Magnusson SC. Home ownership is vicious.

I haven't been able to wake up this week. I'm halfway through a rockstar energy drink and I've had one for the last 3 days, and I'm STILL ready for a nap. :bored:

If you get a chance do a Chicago Architecture River Cruise... It'll give you a nice relaxing tour of the Chicago skyline (along the river) and there's some great history info. If you can, catch an evening cruise!!! You'll be able to see the buildings lit up and you'll get a much different perspective from the River side of the skyline. There are also a ton of great restaurants near that you can hit after your tour.

I believe this is the one I used, should be under $50....

Architecture tours would be great in a few cities. The buildings are really the only thing that make me ever want to see NYC, for example. Architecture is also just about my only interest in Europe, too. I'm not a buff or techy about it, but I like looking at cool buildings.

Keep your head up and don't look like a victim. Make eye contact w/everyone, but don't stare. Let people know you are aware of them, but don't come off arrogant or like you're looking for trouble. Be confident and have purpose in how you are carrying yourself and moving about. Be aware of your surroundings and don't have your face buried in your phone while you are moving around in public. If you handle yourself appropriately, they'll move on to easier prey; even if someone was targeting you at some point.

Try to do things in groups, since you're there on business, but don't let group setting be too much of a distraction...

Cabs are heavily regulated in that area and are generally safer than using Uber... and worth the extra money. Most cab drivers are very efficient and appreciative that you are giving them business instead of the ubers and will treat you right. Most have been around a while and are good short term tour guides....

If you get into a vehicle, cab, etc... always check the child safety lock!!!!
    upload_2022-9-12_11-10-9.jpg

... oh and seriously, check out the river cruise!!! ;) But, don't swim in the river...

I really think it is the lighting or camera used between various shots. In person it is different. It never looks light. Up close it is actually metallic also.

Your pics are what made me love the color, but those shots are all out of a video, and even moving around and with a tundra there as well, the taco and 4runner never look the same as the tundra.
