How can I smooth out my ride?

I would like to smooth out my ride and I wanted to check here for ideas and perspectives on how to do it.

My 2019 SR5 has 33" Terra Grapplers that are E rated on stock shocks and a TRD pro rear sway bar., it has 65K miles on it It rides kinda rough especially when going slower over bumps and rough roads. It is just short of a jarring ride and feels like a HD truck.

So I am planning for my next set of tires to be non-E rated to take out some of the stiffness and then Billstein 5100/6100 shocks front and rear? I do not off road much and it is usually just a dirt road or easy trail. I also cannot afford King or even Fox shocks. I run my current tires @ 35 libs when not towing. Any other ideas or different suggestions on how to mellow out my ride a bit?

Do you have the 18" rims or the 20's?

I would definitely stay away from the Bilsteins 5100's. Have them on my truck and ride is rough with those as well. Running 18's with Ridge Grapplers as well.

Eibach provides a much better ride than the 5100’s for a few bucks more.

And don’t run E tires like previously stated…

I've hears dobinsons ride very well too. And they're reasonably priced

I switched from a Camry for eleven years to the truck. The other cars in our fleet are a newer CRV and a 2020 Tahoe, so I have a basis of comparison.

My Tundra has the Offroad Bilsteins in the rear and 5100’s up front, on middle setting.

    I have 33” E-rated Cooper Discoverers.

I think the ride is VERY smooth, quiet, and responsive, and I prefer driving the truck to all the other vehicles.

I’m in Oregon, so I have to feel secure on wet roads, with some ice and snow each year. I also like to drive into rocky quarries, and I drive periodically on the beaches.

    The Coopers are awesome.

I think the tires will make the biggest difference. I would swap tires first and then re-evaluate if you even need a new suspension. You'd be surprised how much of a difference tires can make in smoothness on the road.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
Sounds crazy yet I friend of mine got tired of his 'rough' ride so installed Icon stage 4s, says its the most comfortable ride he's had in years, plus he does off road so there's that use also. I would not have thought stage 4s would be comfortable yet he swears by them.

I also have Eibach Pro Shocks (front/rear). They're set to 1.25in setting on stock springs. I feel that they're slightly "softer" riding than the 5100's that I had set at .875in setting on my 08 Dbl Cab. You can also set the Eibachs at stock height or .6in setting and may get an even better ride.
