No skid plate, no. I do have a ton of extra weight between all the amps and speakers though and all seems fine.

 

Cool, thanks. I'm installing the setrab trans cooler right now and had to remove it for the install. Leaving it off until after lowering kit install next, but was debating about putting it back on in the end. Probably will

Drove a ton today and 10-15 above ambient. Ambient ranged from 68-88 today

 

Where is your air temp sensor located?
And is it the same place as Harrop air temp sensor?

 

I believe it’s not the same as the harrop. I think it pulls from the maf.

 

I believe that's correct. you are seeing the temp at the MAF sensor. 10-15 is OK

I would run just south of that when I was bone stock. HWY driving would sometimes be as low as 5 degree delta.

the Harrop sensor is after boost - just before entering cylinder. Us Harrop boys see 20-40 degree delta. (~70degrees when you intercooler pump is not plugged in)

I suspect the Mag is just north of that delta because you guys spin faster & have smaller intercooler.
however, you guys appear to make boost faster because of your fast spinning.

 

I would definitely agree with that. The harrop is much more efficient in making boost. From previous logging my efforts do seem to be working. Why wouldn’t they since its NASA tech lol. But it could be working because the earth is flat lol

Think I've decided I'm gonna piece together my fit kit instead of buying the TRD fit kit. You guys start throwing me links to parts so I can save em lol. Also gonna copy you with the tin foil hat stuff

Prepping my parts links to piece together fit kit for TRD Magnusun s/c. Question about the injectors and pump. From an ease of purchasing standpoint I'm looking at the Prospeed Fuel system package which includes 750cc injectors and TI Auto E85 450 fuel pump w/install kit, for $890 after shipping. Worth it? Or buy better brands separately?
