Depends on what you are using for paint.
Latex - you’re best off using an airless and running the paint full mix. Honestly, I wouldn’t spray latex any other way.

Installed a new dishwasher. My plan was for someone else to install a new dishwasher. I paid $190 for removal and haul away of the old one and installation of the new one. My wife called mid morning and said it won't fit. It's about 1/2 inch from going in all the way.
So I left work early, we're on day one of a week long audit so it's not the best time to leave early.
Get home and pull the new one out. It was hitting a curled up piece of linenoleum. Cut that bitch out and bam.

I guess I’ll be replacing a washer as soon as we find one we like and that’s available. Pretty sure the main drum bearing is toast in the Samsung front load we’ve had for 15 years. I guess it paid for itself. I hate appliance shopping. Never know if you’re buying a lemon or not.

Took the new ceiling fan back down, added the receiver for the remote, reconnected wiring, re-hung it.

I need to pull down my living room ceiling fan that was installed about a year ago. Remote worked fine for about a month then no longer worked. Batteries are fine and I'm positive the dip switches are in the correct position. That fan isn't connected to a light switch and is always hot so our fan has been going non-stop at the same speed for a year...the only thing I can think of is that the remote receiver wiring somehow came disconnected or it just failed.

Cut that drum out and make a fire pit out of it! I hate "finishing" stages so I haven't fully stripped the paint...but I plan on turning it into R2D2 at some point. This thing gets HOT.

Classic redneck. My oldest daughter has been using a dryer drum for a fire pit for years. She doesn't weld, so the legs are four cinder blocks.

Can take the redneck out the country...but never the country out of the redneck. May live in suburban MD but I was born and raised in the good ol' WV.

Wife liked the natural look of the frames so no stain. Just 2 coats of poly and finished setup. Turned out solid.

Hung the yak up finally. Have to adjust the straps with some paracord on the underside but it fits where I wanted it.

Do you do this professionally or hobby? Our second full bath is old and my wife keeps nagging me to update it. I want to turn it into something like the center photo but retain the bathtub functionality. I'm a DIY'er so I just wing it 95% of the time...turns out decent for the most part lol.

Awesome. It’s my profession, bathrooms and kitchens. I specialize in bath tile. A new tub with new tile walls is definitely something you can tackle if you’re a good DIYer.

Awesome. The more I do, the more I feel like I should have gone into a trade. Too late now! I enjoy making stuff...most of the time from scratch. One day I'll give it a whirl....add it to the list of 1 million other things I need to do around here. Any excuse to buy new tools.

    Flux capacitor!
Finally got around to finishing our kitchen remodel. Remove our old granite tops and installed white level 5 Quartz countertops, installed a pot filler, gas cooktop, vent hood, under cabinet leds and a white honed Chevron marble tile. I did the tile myself and my wife loves it.

Not a home improvement per se, but that's $850 in lumber that will become 2 2'x6' tables with a hidden drawer for the church.

Sorry man, I don’t travel at all, actually. I work for a contractor, and he keeps me 100% busy in my city. Out of curiosity, where are you located?
