I got wheels off a 2018 Tundra put on my 2015. 2018 sensors can’t sync with my 2015. Tire shop said they could put the original sensors on for $100, the thing is that they are already 7 years old.
    New set cost $260.
At 7 years old, is it a gamble on lifespan?
Could someone suggest some that are durable and affordable?

It's the batteries as far as lifespan. Usually around 10 years is the average.
