Has anyone made use of this?

I keep looking at it wondering if something can be put in this little tray shelf area. Anyone do anything cool?

Space right behind that is limited, so are options.

 

Some of us have used it for kewl and not so cool stuff !

if you are 05-06 there is an ac vent right behind it, so not much room. Iv used the buttons to the right for ditch lights and a usb charger oem look to both

 

I have an ultra gauge mounted in that spot

 

sequoia has a piece that fits and can fit more OEM switches...

 

I replaced one of those button blanks with a USB port for my Kenwood headunit. Cheap chinesium part but if fit ok. Got it off Amazon.

 

My buddy uses it as a picture frame for his last Labrador Retriever that passed away.

Bench seat here--I mounted switches for front and rear LED lights, and used the floor space for a square basket to hold tissues, snacks, and other misc things.

 

Back in the day, I had my SIRIUS head unit wired through that space... punched out the blanks for access and used 3M adhesive tape to mount it. In 2011 it was cool...
