    Hi all,

Been considering some fender flairs (getting some paint nicks on the doors and bedside, assuming from the offset) and would like to ask two questions:

    1. With the current setup in the pictures (appear to be a 0 offset), do you recommend fender flairs?

    2. If so, would you go color match or black?

    Any feedback would be appreciated!

I like the flares. Here’s mine with the slimmer OEM flares and +7 offset

Damn good deal if @Tundra805 would ship them to you. When I shipped my Bushwacker flares from FL to Maryland it was around $68.00 at the main UPS hub. Do not use a UPS store though. They're independently owner and the rates are much higher.

Can't stand the bolt-on look. So obviously fake. Recommend smooth or textured bolt-free flares if you must install some.

I had the same wheel poke. Bushwackers fixed that.

I mean if toyota would have put them on stock from the factory like they did the 2nd gen tacos I could have saved some money, not had to worry about it, and kept it a little slimer/smoother - so I blame toyota on this one :p

oh well, I guess I'll be obviously fake ;)

Textured slim black fender flares are a current design trend. Look around and you’ll see them on all kinds on non-trucks nowadays. Not saying they look bad, just that it’s a current design trend.

I've looked through the replies and those trucks look good. The style of flare is preference. I love the no flare look. But, the offset on your tan truck post pictures begs for flares, IMO. I think my general sense is that 1" or so exposed tire, cool. Start going much beyond that and it looks wrong.

Thanks. I think they are OEM. They were installed either at the port or by the dealer - I don’t remember. They were on it when I got it. I like them.
