Great information. Forgot about using it on tractors as well. My trailers torque on the lug nuts is 175 ft#’s

I didn't use one for the longest time and it took forever doing rotations. Now I feel like I'm on Earnhardt's pit crew

I finally installed the stoptech hd tow axle kit on the truck. Stopping from 65mph will give you whiplash! Huge initial bite and stopping power. Hoping they dont warp like oem did.

Could you possibly send a link to what you installed?
    Slotted rotors?

2800 bucks. Any big brake kit is going to be awesome at that price range. I personally think the tundras brakes are undersized. Look at a bmw or hell a ford edge.

$4,800 front and rear. Yea I agree they’re very under braked. People don’t under stand stopping power until they’ve seen a BBK perform. Not a great feeling having brake fade and no pedal..

1000% agree about the BBKs almost pulled the trigger on a trd used kit but they sold before i got it the offer
For the price you are paying for these trucks the trd package should come with trd shocks big brake kit dual exhaust and front rear .
    swaybars.

I think that is an awesome system for its intended use.
Seems it would be a bit over kill for my personal situation.
My issue was pulsation on long steep downgrades.
Turns out, I reset the brake controller to zero and readjusted the trailer brakes to (7) problem solved‍♂️
With that being said, I am going to install the stoptech slotted rotors and pads just to insure a reduced heat build up.

    now,
If I decide to install a Magnum supercharger as I am certainly leaning.
Then that venture will include a list of upgrades and a big brake kit will be at the top of the list.

Thanks to all that have been involved in this discussion topic, I’ve learned a good bit.
You always learn something new, (if) you just sit back and listen:)

Hey OP. I didn't read through the whole thread but I did the Z36 brake, rotor, and caliper package. The first 5-10 thousand miles have been great. Lately, they've felt a bit soft, so I'm gonna do a break flush or possibly change my brake lines and see what's up. Hopefully they're not failing already, because I really loved them when they were new. There's no wobble in the rotors... just seems like they're not biting the same if that makes sense
