If you are on/in dirt and dust the majority of the time (>15k miles) it is a 30k mile / 3 year service interval.

anyone that can do 5k miles of dirt a year - I’m :jellydance:

    A bunch
Hell in my area once the snow melts I'd consider the highways dusty roads. I'm surprised it doesn't factor in 4x4 usage even though it does factor in heavy towing usage.

It's certainly a case by case basis - but the way Sumo talked about his driving style the 30k mile TC service sounded like it would fit for service interval, not 60k.

I know looking at my TC oil after 80k kms on OEM I wouldn't want to go any longer, I'll be targeting 60k km myself for the next service regardless of brand used.

Ok - I felt the need to go ensure I’ve not been abusing my truck running the factory fill hard for 71k miles. I pulled a sample and think I’m fine. My plan was to change it at 75k and based on looks I’ll probably keep that interval.

@FrenchToasty can verify that we throw some dust at it.

I haven't forgotten! We just moved several states over and we *almost* have everything unpacked. I found the sample and just need to get it shipped off.

It's amazing. TN is the place to be! Tons of off roading, hiking, scenery, and great people. The cooler weather will take a little getting used to though.

It's working great...no issues at all. It's been a long winter and 4WD was used frequently. From all the research I've done, and in my opinion, you won't have any issues using the Amsoil 75W90 Severe Gear.

    Good luck!

I feel like I just spent money just looking at that pic. ha ha

I changed my diffs and t-case at 60k when i got my truck. I'm at about 87k and will be changing all three in Jan 2023. I don't tow, mainly camping, hunting and fishing, with probably no more than 1000 lbs in the bed. May 8k miles per year?? So my truck gets babied a little. I'm not overly concerned but I'll post pics of the used Ravenol when i remove it. I plan to put Ravenol back into the t-case, unless it comes out looking really bad. If it's bad, I'll drop the $$$ and get the OEM oil. Not willing to use the 75-90 like others are doing as it seems like there are enough folks on here having issues switching in and out of 4wd when they are not using 75W
