I've read several posts about different console organizer options. I ended up finding an upper tray on ebay that I had not seen in any threads so I thought I'd share it. I received it the other day and love it. Here's a link: console tray

I like that. The cut out for the charger port is nice and the multiple areas would be nice too

Yeah, it also comes with rubber mats for each section that sits on the plastic and prevents stuff from sliding around.

There is a vendor here called @salex ocd. He makes a nice tray too at a lower price. I have his and I like it. But I will say I like the design of this one a lot too

The tray with the rubber inserts is what I have. It is perfect for that huge void...

Yeah, I've ordered their divider for the lower compartment. I just liked this design better than their upper tray.

The Salex Organizers OCD tray is $24.99 before the forum discounts. Order it on Amazon with the OCD lower grid at $19.99 and you are out the door for $36 with the 20% discount.

When was the last time you saw product designed and manufactured in the USA beat a Chinese copy? BTW, I am here for any issues and speak English fluently.

Seriously though, Salex Organizers, is the Vehicle OCD, and original product line to organizer center consoles. Chinese copies are coming in waves recently on Amazon and EBAY. Please consider where your money is going and keep it here. Thanks!

I got the OCD grid and tray, came in yesterday, and it's an awesome addition to make that large "trunk" area usable... The tray has the rubber inserts as well, and fits snug. Only wish it had the opening for the charger port, but I might see what a dremel can do about that.

Yeah I might do the same.. One thing - if you turn it around the other direction, the tray can slide all the way from the front to the back. It makes sense and takes advantage of the design where the top edge lip doesnt run to the edge of the tray.. I am wondering if we are all putting the try in backwards.. otherwise why would it be designed that way?

Salex can you offer some information?

If you put the tray in "backwards" and slide it all the way to the front the lid will not close. There are protrusions in the lid that come down into the bottom part of the console when closed, at the front of the console. To prevent unhappy customers using the tray in the forward position the tray has the notches in the front and a specific orientation. As long as you guys know that put it backwards, just remember if the lid won't close.

Whaaat?? Nah the lid closes fine.. and like I said it also allows the tray to slide *all the way to the back* without binding in the incline of the rear of the console. What protrusions are you talking about? There are these two little bumps, but they arent near the edge of the opening.. Are you talking about the angular tabs? They dont seem to impact anything either.

Hit the tray in my console if I put it in backward.

Make room so it doesn’t bind up when the console is closed.

On mine the lid closes but the notches kind of get wedged in the tray so when you open the lid it lifts up on the tray and starts to dump it.

The tray in your picture is not a Salex Organizers product. It does appear that the outer geometry was copied from the Salex Organizers tray. Just curious how the customer support has been from the Chinese manufacturer when you ask them the same question?

Huh I bought it off of Amazon.. I wasn't aware of who made it.. My console closes fine with the tray in backwards, so I obviously it must be slightly different. Its a big feature to allow the tray to slide all the way back for easy access to the power socket. A small design tweak needed?
