Surf here on The Island is the worst in the entire county but it does have its moments !
Typically, the folks gravitate towards "Shipwrecks" near the edge of NAB.

I've seen guys out there with a boat surfing that spot. I was never brave enough to give that a shot, myself.

We were dorking around on Shelter Island and saw a couple of women working the dolphins near the boat launch ramp.
The dolphins were jumping out of the water and swimming up along side of their 21' boat.
The whole thing was quite the show.

played tourist yesterday and went river cruising. flashbacks (some good, some bad) to running the ohio near evansville, in as a teenager. i was also very surprised to see my dream boat docked behind the river cruise boat. a nordhavn on the hudson seems a bit overkill but hopefully they use it as intended.

Dang! No pic of the Nordhavn? My dream boat also.

Depending on what model it was they may be doing the Great Loop. There are a few places on the Loop where bridge clearance is an issue but the newer N41's should be able to do the entire loop by putting the mast down for a couple of the bridges.

it was a 41 and had the extra masts for sails. i've only seen a couple of others built that way.

when we lived in dana point, it was always fun watching the brand new ones get delivered. i've left lots of drool on the docks. beautiful boats.
