18in Wheels ???

Traded for 2022 Tundra wheels today.
6 lug 18in 265/70R18. I have a Rough country 2in lift. Can I make these work on my 03 tundra, Or should I sell them. Running 2018 4runner 17" wheels now with no problems of rubbing. Thanks

 

Put em on, let us know. Measure the center hub hole and backspacing.

 

265’s should fit no problem with 2 inch lift. Honestly you could even go bigger. My concern is that you might need wheel spacers because those rims do not look deepset. Give her a go

 

Those are 33” tires. Should fit with a 2” lift but wheel spacers may be needed

 

I’m pretty sure those say 265 on them? Where’d you get that from?

 

265 is the width. 70 is the % of the width for the sidewall.

a 265/70r18 is roughly a 33” tire (well 32.65”)
And 10.43” wide

my trucks on 255/80r17. Which are a hair over 33”

I would put one on in the front to see how close it is to the control arm. If that’s fine turn it lock to lock and see how close you are to the frame

not sure on the backspacing on the new tundras. But if it’s like 2/3rd gen tacos a 1/4” spacer would do

 

I still wanna know the hub bore. If the new wheels have a smaller hub bore, are there spacers that can adapt?

On a quick glance it appears Toyota is still using the same bore. But I’ve yet to measure one

 

Quick google search shows it’s still a 106mm bore.. should fit

Hmm found a photo of one. Yea. These are a no go for any Toyota other than the new tundra. A slave can make it fit yea. But you won’t be hub centric anymore

 

Nothing an angle grinder or chrisb’s lathe cant fix.

I wouldnt recommend it, but i did find spacers without the hub lip. It also said those wheels are for m14 studs. I dont know if that could cause problems. You’re gonna kinda be on the bleeding edge of this. Would be cool to find spacers with the 106mm on the hub side and the 95 (or whatever it is) on the wheel side.

 

Yes noticed the holes in those wheels are a little bigger than my other wheels. Don't think I wanna tackle that , probably just sell them, Tires have a 150 miles on them guy said, look brand new. Bridgestones

 

If you have them why not try installing them? You'll know in 10 minutes.
