I’m in the east bay about 40 minutes away from SF

I’ve done the drive to Seattle and a Portland many times. Gets boring south of Redding CA!

Well I finished most of my electrical additions in the bed. Switch box is wired up, loom to the battery is snaked and in, circuit breakers are in, and I mounted the ARB compressor in the bed. Flipped that switch and bam I’ve got air. Really glad it all worked.

Before I electrified the system I placed everything and ended up driving to Yosemite yesterday and back, 6 hours round trip and nothing melted. I didn’t want juice flowing till it was proven.

Wire loom crossing the engine bay

Two marine circuit breakers, 25A for the switch box powering fridge/lights/etc and a 90A powering the twin compressor. The breakers are nice because if you have to work on anything you press the yellow button to open the circuit and everything is powered down

To access the void between the fender and truck bed wall I had to remove the outer fender flare and the wheel well faring. There’s so much room in there and I could easily access the backside of the wiring harness to the compressor and the bulkhead for the braided compressor hoseB56668F9-F3BF-42D2-A14F-B1FA382781D6.jpg

I mounted the compressor up front and within easy reach of the rear is the switch panel and compressor chuck and switch

Compressor is mounted using large flange rivnuts and a mount by QuickDraw which allows flexible mounting options and includes rubber dampeners.

Fixed my wobbly and squeaky armrest today. Thing is rock solid now and still latches perfectly. MUCH happier! One on each side, of course.

Which model is pictured?...Limited? I really like the layout of the cup holders and little storage area by phones so much better than my Platinum. The cups one in front of the other is kinda a pain in the butt when my wife and I both have a large drink containers....first world problems, I know LOL

First wash and wax. Took 2 hours. Black is tedious to do well. I still need to go over a few areas.

Factory charger is mediocre anyhow. I'd give up the charger for that console layout in a heartbeat, lol.

Damn are you sagging or is it just the pic? Put one brick in that bed or two anything and it’s over . Gonna do anything to the rear so you don’t have so much sag? Color match looks good though. That just a wrap?

could be just the pic. It measures 1/4" higher in the rear. I'll most likely throw a 1 inch spacer in the back since i like a bit of a rake. Yup, grill is just a wrap. 3m Gloss white. matches nicely.

I posted a more detailed build thread. I’m waiting on a new rack from KB Voodoo Fabrications as well, they make a killer product that has a few options no one else has. I’ve got a discount code I can share as well

What brand and model did you go with? Do the OEM cover for the tweeter goes back on top of the tweeter without any issues?

Well what I thought would be a 20 minute job to mount my Baja Designs turned into a few hours. First off. These brackets are cheap and flex too easily.. and i wouldn't recommend mounting anything more than a mini pod light. Nonetheless.. not much is available on the market currently for 3rd gens.. so I'm going to run them regardless in the meantime. 2nd.. only thing mounting my few hundred dollar investment is a tiny 10mm screw. Don't really trust it to hold up in the long run. Lastly and this is entirely on me.. but the mounting bolt for these Baja XL-Sports are entirely too big for the cut outs in the tiny bracket. I should of stopped there.. but my impatient self used a file to largen up the holes so they would to fit the baja mounting bolts through.. serves me right for trying to get them on quickly. My Advice is wait for a legit A-pillar bracket that mounts to the front hood hinge brackets rather than the tiny 10mm screw. The mounting point vibrates a bit on the road.

I have black/white cover caps for them if I want to be a little more subtle. The hood opens & clears with about 1 cm away from these lights.

Did you replace every speaker with the same line? Is it just plug and play at the speakers or did you do anything with the amp? Separately, has anyone tried Taco Tunes for this or previous gens? How are they?
