268hp rated stock at the crank. opening the exhaust makes a big difference. removing catalyst protections is a huge leap. lower plenum injector boss removal, intake tube. all this nets 300WHP with a s54 or eb60 trans. these engines are fucking awesome

oh they scream when the cats are gone and the Y pipe restriction is removed. Lotus uses this engine in the evora and exige S and the new evia or w/e its called

its a toyota camry but mounted in the back. so yes. still mid engine though. engines mass is before the rear axles.

 

That's pretty exciting. Sounds like you have a P factor build there.

 

best part of this whole swap is the engine weighs like 100lbs less than the stock 4 cylinder. lol with 300hp and way more torque.

 

4 to 6 and weighs less and torque and power up there. Seems like the pedestrian to driver swap!

 

the 2gr has also been taken to over 700WHP with a turbo on stock internals. shes got alot of potential. 700whp in a mr2 is a death trap if you want to track it though.

a 350hp mr2 will out run a new mustang GT 5.0.

oh v8 swap the 02 is far down the list of things to get done.

mr2 is falling into place pretty quick just because i got an engine for free, a dirt cheap factory gasket kit.. i'll be 600 bucks into the engine build.. then its the trans and the rest of the swap parts. if all goes well the car should be running by june

 

But were they driving, and have you seen, the new raptor-edition bronco? I have, and it’s pretty frikkin badass. It looks like a completely different vehicle from the stock bronco. Don’t know what they’ve got suspension-wise, but you know it’s an upgrade from standard. There’s also a raptor ranger, but it just looks like a baby raptor

You saw what happened to toilet paper when the world got sick at once. Imagine a really good earthquake during the next pandemic, or an organized run at the border. Really isn't unreasonable to own an overbuilt truck in Sandi Eggo.

no - today. I am far more versed in Toyota hybrid than I want to be. Apparently I am far more versed in Toyota hybrid tech than the tech's at my local dealer. But these are "mechanics" who supposedly road tested my Pruis 2x & never mentioned the screaming wheel bearing, so.....

RTT across the bed.2 straps, flip it open, done. Do the sticks in the window awnings if you want. hella easy. Memory foam mattress in RTT - priceless.
