Found the reason why my serpentine belt wasn't staying on. The new one comes out farther than the old one.

This is also a reason why the belt didn't fit. Is this a Tacoma ps pump or something...

Sure. I like it. Seems accurate. This is my second voltmeter. The first had a dual usb charger but I didn’t like that i had to modify it to get it to fit and it wasn’t a flush mount; this one snapped right in the factory opening.

don't know if its a Taco's but I count 7 ribs on it as to 6 on the Tundra, either exchange it where you got it or check the measurements of the shaft to bolts and if correct use a pulley puller and swap the old pulley onto it if it lines up.

Yeah the old pump has 7 ribs, the new one has 6. I'm picking up the new pump tomorrow. I'm not dealing with swapping out parts and what not.

That's why belt was bowed on edge, pulley was too narrow on new one.

    Installed these tie downs:

Bull Ring 9001 Raised Fit Retractable Truck Bed Tie-Down Anchors Fits '00-13 Toyota Tundra Regular Cab and Extended Cab. (Not for Double Cab Trucks) (1 Pair) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085V8NRF7?_encoding=UTF8

(The name says "not for double cab trucks" but that is a dirty lie, they're perfect)

They pop up and down. Seem quality and install in 5 minutes. I don't have the bed rail system so I really needes some extra tie-downs.

    E63C3B2D-ED4E-4443-B688-347149D3333D.jpg E55DF9FA-2312-4460-B18A-165CF694696B.jpg

Question: is the OEM bed rail system good or is there a better option? Should I just screw in some fixed tie-downs and if so what would you recommend?

Drained and filled the transfer case, both diffs, and the transmission. All fluids had 30k on them with some towing and relatively hard 4x4 use. All of them looked pretty darned clean, the dirtiest looking was the front diff. Amsoil Severe Duty 75w-90 and Amsoil synthetic ATF.

I guess not. There was more ummphh when dropping down then I’d like. I didn’t even realize there was a factory one until I started looking into something to help with it

Purely aesthetic but I desrusted and repainted my tie-downs, then installed them over the bed rug.

Scored a deal from @IowaGuy on some desert does it seat jackers. They installed very quickly and so far I like the way they change the seating position. This weeks commute will be the real test.

Replaced the dash speakers with some Kicker 3.5 mid components. It’s a super tight fit and I knew it was going to take some “customization” going in. Thankfully, they are a tight fit into the original hole and you can fit one of 2 factory bolts in place. I used a screw and just went into the plastic for the other. It’s plenty tight and isn’t going to hurt anything. Factory grills go right back over. Cut the factory bridging plug off the old dash speakers and just spliced on the wires that came with the Kickers for their spades. Front soundstage is fantastic now. Can’t wait to replace the doors with matching Kickers now.
Driver Side (factory bolt goes all the way down)
    ABB1DFCC-AD4B-4641-AC56-BFB3BB3D45F8.jpg
Passenger Side (factory bolt only goes part way down as speaker does not sit as low due to air vent pipe)

A bit difficult to show in a picture, but I had a UV film put on the windshield. We took a trip this weekend and the heat through the windshield was quite noticeable. I had the tint installed this morning and the reduction in heat was surprising. It'll make driving this summer much more pleasant.

SS5's arrived today - I quickly threw them on to see how they look. Diggin' the larger lights, suits the large truck well! Don't mind the popped hood and my trickle charger. Now that my wedding is behind me, it's time to start giving the Slurp some love.
