I tried for a while to install LED blinkers in my Tundra and after a few different attempts, I was finally able to succeed with no hyperflash. This method will disable your DRL, which I suspected to be giving me a hard time with the whole process.
I have posted all of the links to the parts and bulbs that I used.

    Steps:
-Replace the front light sockets with the 3157 sockets from Autozone. The one that was in my truck looked pretty burnt up.
-De-pin the DRL grey wire. Plenty of info available on how to do that.
    -Install all bulbs
-Install load resistors in the rear tail lights (blinker wires), mounted to the chassis, none are required in the front since the two resistros will cover all four blinkers / corners.

I can pull apart my tail lights if anyone needs to see more details on the wiring and such. Feel free to ask any questions. Cheers

I hate load resistors with a passion! Same issue, hyper flash with a good GTR bulb up front. I’m going to throw in the towel and depot the DRL.

At some point I’d like the sequoia headlight conversion but 1500 bucks isn’t doable for a good while.

Not a fan of cheap load resistors but the VLEDs resistors are nice.
Big and beefy for heat dissipation.

Been running them for 5 years..
Mounted behind the tail lights, I used their double-sided tape and my self-tapping screws.
I need to take pics of them on the truck.

LED TURN SIGNAL HYPERFLASH FIX VLR-6 (vleds.com)

They used to sell VLR-3 that covered both front and rear on each side.
    That is what I have.
LED bulbs in turn signal tail and turn signal/DRL fronts.
Now they want to sell you a VLR-6 for each light.:eek2:

    VLR-3 4.5A @14.4V
    VLR-6 2.25A @14.4V
