New here. I have an 04 Double Cab 2wd. I'm looking to either get air bags our helper springs of some kind to help some with sagging when hauling. I'm not looking to increase my load capacity, just not sag when I have a full load. By reading the above posts, I learned that I should have looked to see how far if any I am sitting on the overload springs. I don't want a stiff ride all the time so I am not sure if I like the idea of different leaves. Air bags give flexibility but can be a pain unless I drop the $ for a pump, not. Is there a medium pressure I could run that would give some extra support and not ride like junk with an empty bed.....thoughts, experience? I'm looking to do this inexpensively, but I don't want to sacrifice ride quality when not hauling. Half the reason I went with a Tundra was because it doesn't handle like a truck.

 

Solves everything if set up correctly and your not tongue heavy. My Taco could not take very much a tongue load at all even with a 4" lift and an extra leaf. The Weight Distribution hitch worked like a charm. Got one for towing my RV and will adjust it lower for the taller Tundra. No added expense what so ever modifying the rear suspension when you use one. You won't want to pull anything ever again without one.
