I have been a member of this forum for quite awhile. I purchased my Tundra in 2007. I have sold parts I have removed from my truck and replaced with aftermarket parts.

Now I have replaced my stock hood and rear tail lights with aftermarket parts and they say I can't sell my OEM parts on this site due to low postings. I have always monitered the forum but chose not to post unless I had something interesting to share.

My Used parts are still for sale, I just can't post that for the other members to benefit from good used parts as opposed to new.

I encourage you to participate in a few threads to get your post count up. Off topic, local BS threads, funny pictures, tons of content out there! You only need 24 more posts.

Yeah just make a bunch of useless post so others have to sort thru more garbage so you can sell something. You're almost there.

I stand corrected, my truck is 10 years old and I knew I was on Tundra forums starting in 2008. My error was I joined Tundra Solutions, another Tundra forum in 2008. Somewhere along the way, I added this forum and lost contact with Tundra Solutions. Apparently, I will need to list my OEM hood and tail lights on Tundra Solutions.
I'm an old car guy and my Tundra has always been my go to hauler since 2007. I take a lot of guff from all my friends and former co-workers here in General Motors Country for owning this truck but I have told all of them my Tundra was built in Indiana at a time when the GM trucks were being built in Canada and Dodge in Mexico. I could have gotten an employee discount from GM in 2007, but I did my homework and felt the Tundra was the best investment. That has proven to be true, even though I do not care what the resale value is, in the first 9 years of ownership, all that was needed on my Tundra was new front brakes. That freed up a lot of money for upgrades and I have spent it on the Tundra.
I sold a Dodge Diesel Dually when I bought the Tundra as I transitioned from transporting antique and classic vehicles to semi-retirement pulling a single car enclosed trailer with the Tundra.
In my form of retirement, I participate in Nostalgia Gasser Racing, buying, selling and restoring 60's muscle cars and collecting an occasional Canadian Poncho (Canadian built Pontiacs had Chevy drivetrains). Therefore my time on this site is limited as I usually only come here when I'm making changes to my Tundra or look for an appreciation for the upgrades made.

This was your suggestion for me and I mean no disrespect but I get this from face book and every other site I visit. I just want to read and share my experiences with my truck

This is a tough one. We added the programming to only allow those with 50+ posts to sale on here for the reason of protecting our members. Someone that is active on the forum is less likely to screw over another member. Doesn't eliminate the risk but definitely helps. This is also another way to get members active and not just jumping on to sell something and never log in again.
I do understand your situation with being on the forum for a long period of time and maybe actively reading and learning but just not posting. Don't think the system can regulate by join date and also by frequency logging in.
If we just open it up to everyone by join date then it would hurt those that jump on and are very active. Still a risk for scams/screwing over members too.
