It’s a 3M product from a local shop, couldn’t tell you the specifics. I did a Google search and found a few companies that make a pre cut piece just for this.
It was easy for me, I just unbolted the hood brought it in the house and sat there drinking beer while the kid did all the work. He charged me $60 for materials and labor.

I like that. But how is the reception?
My 10" antenna doesn't get much.

Busy week of installs on the truck. Arb dual compressor in the engine bay to support the front and rear ARB lockers. Needed to upgrade my switched from the “Trigger 6” to Switch Pros 12. Installed a set of Deavers and King bump stops to handle some big air jumps in the sand dunes.

I haven’t given thought to LED tails and turns. This mod was mostly for security while walking up to the truck at night as my wife uses the truck a fair amount.

For the average DIY it is probably a 4/10. Door panels come off easily… mod to the mirrors is easy…VLED universal kit has enough wire to get from mirrors down through the doors and into cab. Basic 12v wiring knowledge is helpful. Hardest part is getting wire through the accordion grommet between door and cab. I unhooked the harnesses at the kick panels on both sides and pushed the soft grommet into the door. Then undid the tape on both ends of the grommet and used a zip-tie for a fish tool to easily pull wire through. Tape the ends back up and push the harness and grommet back into place. Finding the pink wire for the cargo light circuit to get switched 12v also a bit of a challenge. The wire is under the drivers door threshold panel. Follow the link in my original post as well as the link in that post by the guy that did the mod to cargo mirrors. Good luck.

I did mine about a year ago. It's a simple job, just requires some patience getting through the boot in the doors. They are unbelievably bright, and have been flawless. It is one of my favorite simple mods that I've added to my truck. I used a 2' ziptie as a snake going through the door, to make sure I didn't nick any wires in the boot.

Is that lamin-x film? Did you install with fogs in the truck or need to remove them?
