Hi. I have a totally stock 2020 DC TRD OR. It seems the weight of the cap is causing a rougher ride? It weighs less than 200lbs? I'm running 40 psi in my OE Michelin tires. Would air tire air pressure cause this? Maybe shackles or Bump stops? Ideas?

If anything, it would make the ride smoother.

Your tire pressure is too high. Stock tires for OR package 18 inch wheels is 30 front and 33 rear. Running 40 is going to make it ride harder.

I felt like the stock pressure (sticker on driver door) was too low and ran 33f/35r for best handling and better tire wear. But 40 is too much for a standard load tire. I run that pressure in the 33 inch LT tires on the Tundra.

I kinda thought 40 psi was too much. I will try 33f and 35r.

I have only found an improved ride from weight in the bed really.
