Hello everybody! Can anyone confirm whether or not a standard 32oz Nalgene fits in the front center console?

C’mon Toyota, some of us actually try to stay hydrated at work.

    Thanks!!!

Cue "The Great Nalgene Water Bottle Conspiracy Thread"!

If it doesn't fit this is a deal breaker for me! LOL

I applaud you asking a very, very, very, very specific question. I had to lookup what a "Nalgene" was.

I wish I could help. All I can say is that my 30 oz Yeti tumbler fits perfectly FWIW. The cup holder can accommodate cups larger than my Yeti (it has spring loaded "wedges" down inside) but I don't see it would be able to accommodate a bottle as big as what you're describing.

The Op mentions the centre console, not a front cupholder.

Ah shoot; I was referencing the cup holders in the 2.5 gen…..my apologies. Anyone with a 2.5 gen who needs to fit a nalgene or hydroflask, this is your fix.

    True.

I suppose it would fit down inside the center console...as long as you didn't have the optional safe. Inside the center console is pretty cavernous.

Ok, before this thread goes all internety on us. Of the two cup holders located between the two front seats, is either of them large enough to accommodate a very large water bottle? I dared to ask specifically about a Nalgene, I grew up in a different time/place I guess…

Thank you all for the English lesson, I don’t get out much.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
If a 32oz Nalgene bottle fits, Toyota will force you to pay a subscription fee to use the console.

We use the ultralight 32oz nalgenes that are a little softer and they fit with a little force.

There are certainly different options… my question, if a $15 bottle won’t fit in a >$50k truck, should I buy a different truck? An “adapter”? Use force or simply buy a water bottle that fits? Everyone might answer this differently but the size of my water bottles was my least concern…

Truck or specific bottle… not a difficult decision. Then again, I do like my Yeti filled with ice coffee and if it didn’t fit I would be frustrated…

I have a 40oz Hydroflask with me at all times. It's similar in diameter to a Nalgene. I keep it in the center console with the front tray slid back. It fits perfectly. I'll try and remember to snap a pic for you tomorrow.

If it doesn't fit, you can just make it fit using your tire iron like in Better Call Saul

This. The center console acts as a cup holder for giant drinks. This is a snap of my little 24oz bottle. It'll hold much larger than this.

I use a large metal hydroflask (32oz). It fits in the cup holder. I keep it in the center consul behind me so it's not in the way. Works great!

(Sadly, no a nalgene does not fit). I too like to stay hydrated!
