Not trying to fit true 35s on the truck. Considering 295 70 18 - and looking at it with my eye-crometer, I really don't know that a leveling kit would be necessary. I saw a link to a 1.75" front kit from Rough Country but man it looks like it's...more than level, to me.

My approach in the past has been to put on whatever tires I want, then lift and cut until they fit. Not trying to do that to this truck. Really rather keep the height stock. Has anyone tried this size tire without a front lift yet?

i'm sure they could fit if you cut a whole bunch, remove all flaps and do a cab mount chop.

Theres a video on here somewhere showimg 295s stock with no level. Said it didnt rub. I remember he called them 295/70r17, but they were 18" tundra wheels so he must have meant 18.

Thank you for that astute bit of imagination and assumption. The question was not directed at people with assumptions, but actual information. A tape measure and my eyes say it will work. If you read, I asked if anyone had done it yet.

I will look for it but I'm on mobile and not the best navigation. If you find it, would you mind sharing? Thank you in advance

I had that 1.75 Rough Country leveling kit on mine for two years and it sat almost level. I ran 275/60/20.

Perfect. Thank you for sharing that. I would have just mounted a pair and tried them, but nobody locally has any 295s in stock. And won't for a long time. Supply chain issues sad when your local guys tell you you just need to order them online. But, it looks like that's what I'll be doing

On my TRD Pro, I only had to remove the front mud flap, but probably could of kept it on. I’m running Toyo AT3 295/70/18’s on TRD wheels. I recommend you look at actual tire size from which brand you have on the truck. Not all 295/70/18’s are equal.

I forgot to add how I acquired mine in this American shipping debacle. I went to Discount tires website and found them but the website wouldn’t let me order due to not being the size tire recommended for the TRD Pro. I called Discount tire and they ordered them for me and gave me my military discount too. I had them in 2 days.

Has anyone on here done this yet? I tried to get a straight answer from my local discount tire to see if they would test fit but they blew me off.

I have 295/70/18 Arturo Trail Blade on my 2015 CM now (34.3).

I am about to pick up a 22 CM next week so I asked my dealer if I can swap tires which would put me in this scenario.

He says he will check with the Services guys…at this point I am willing to pay a small amount for them to test fit it for me so I will see if they take me up on my offer

Should hear from them in a couple days due to the Holiday and my guy being off Sunday/Monday.

They will fit, guys have put 35x12.5’s on stock wheels and aftermarket wheels thus far without lifting, cutting or trimming

I ran a 295/65/18 on my last gen tundra. So that is another choice right under the 70 series. The 295/60/20 would be right between those but closer to the 295/70/18.

Fuel economy and ride went out the window with the heavy E tire though. Will be worse with the turbo V6; in my experience having a couple ecoboosts.

No expertise on the particular question, just throwing out some info.

Thanks…it’s probably why I never bothered to check the economy when I put on those bigger tires/E…I had just continued to live in denial :D.

Gonna be a bit more judicious on this 3rd gen though

Yeah its unfortunate they dont offer more larger light duty tires.

I wouldnt do an E on a halfton again but thats just my opinion. If I were to get a new tundra it would be on 20s and some aggressive light duty 275/60/20 which is as large as you can get before a 121 rated tire.
