Hey, I was able to take a drive in a Limited yesterday. Sorry, I didn't get a pic but I will get one and post it. What I am looking for is pictures from actual trucks at dealerships in Canada.

I am looking at the Limited TRD and the Platinum.

I have been told that the TRD comes with Grey wheels, not the black that is shown on the US models that I have seen.

The Platinum supposedly does not come with the power running boards in Canada that are depicted on the website. We are trying to confirm some of these options.

Weird. It looks like limited written on the truck, but I though those where the SR5 offroad wheels.

This is what we get in Canada for the Limited Trim with the TRD Offroad - 18" Wheels with the Michelin LX Trail tires. This is the only package available for the Limited and it's coming with the large screen, multi terrain view monitor, heated steering, heated/ ventilated seats, sunroof, bed lights, 2 sets of mats, bed cleats. Didn't check if it's coming with the weak 400W plug but probably yes. Also for Canada only the predator steps are available and the tailgate step it's not available at all. Payload is 1400lb

I wonder what tires they put on the SR5 TRD Off Road. Gonna have to either budget for or negotiate for some proper tires right away. Michelin ain't gonna cut it. They can keep those and put Falken or Cooper on.

I don't think any of them will have 1600. So far I've seen 4 stickers: (x2) different SR5 plain and (x1) SR5 off-road - all 3 with 1395lb and one Limited OR with 1400lb (with 18" rims). Also some channels in the states showing their Limiteds off-road with different equipment (one with sunroof and more), both with 20" wheels and both 1400lb. It seems that the extra equipment doesn't make a difference (I know this cannot be right) and Toyota determined the payload based on "lowest possible" per Trim. All SR5's 1395lb and all Limited ones 1400 lb. Platinums will be around 1310lb

In for pics. I want to see what the Limited looks like with the chrome wheels. I have a Blueprint Crewmax 5.5 on order and also a Blueprint TRD OR on order but can't decide between the two.

Fair enough. I was just curious. I don't think you'l get a '22 Tundra to geta 1600lb payload. If you need a 1600lb payload, have a look at the F150. I post a pic of the sticker from my work truck in the payload sticker thread. It was around 1700lbs iirc.

Those posted payloads do not exist. I had a dealer look into it and talk to Toyota Support Team to find out about the 400 lb difference from posted to real. Couple of days later he told me to follow the door stickers. But think about it logically - Tundras cannot have payloads as the Fords because of the weight (Aluminum vs Steel). Tundras are 600-800 lb heavier so naturally will have lower payload. Not sure where did they come with the advertised payloads but it is a big misleading BS. I am in the same boat with you - needing about 1600 lb and based on their posted payloads I am wasting my time for the last month or so trying to understand. But what I need doesn't exist :(

Illogical or not - that's the reality. Somebody posted from the manual a list with all the payloads and they perfectly match what is on the doors. I am done with this subject - good luck in your search

So 1400lb payload with sunroof and this is a crewmax I'm guessing so if no sunroof and a double cab that should increase payload right?

I am not sure it will - so far sunroof or not 4x4 or not didn't make a difference

The Canadian Limited TRD Offroad does NOT get the 20" black wheels like the US version. Instead it shares the same 18" wheels as the SR5.

I have those same tires on my 2018 Denali in 22's. Pretty decent on ice but absolutely BRUTAL in snow, worst tire I've ever had in snow. Got stuck 3 times this past winter IN PARKING LOTS, all 3 times got pulled out or walked around by other vehicles with ease. These tires should be illegal in Canada.

I had zero intentions on using this tire in Winter. I will have studded winters on, we have too much freezing rain during the winter here in NB

The ltx trails are absolutely terrible in the winter too.

Research shows they are a summer only tire as well.

If your getting a tundra in Canada budget new tires in immediately
