    No thank you.

the family’s farm has had deaths. But at least they were natural. (Still get weird vibes there alone though)

Where possible, it's usually the cheaper option as long as you aren't paying plumber hourly rates for the digging. You may however run into permit issues and if the damaged pipe is where you can't dig (like under city sidewalk or street) then there are limits to hand trenching.

For water lines, no. For sewer lines it is recommended to follow the old line for simplicity. You need to ensure proper grade the whole way through, and detours from the old line path can make unnecessary bends. The original line is usually the quickest path anyway. Plus following the line makes connection to both points easier.

My sequoia has factory heated seats and the wires run under the carpet right under the seat.

Lol, It doesn't have the auto up/down or it doesn't have the lighted switches?

Automatic passenger window (and rear window) switch. Driver's window is the only automatic one for down. My switches are backlit I'm pretty sure.

My driver door has auto up down but no lighting. Passenger side doesn't do the auto up down. That has always been a bit annoying to me. I like in my GTI how I push the buttons and drop or raise both windows.

Pretty sure it does. Now that you ask I'm questioning it. Maybe its just auto down?

It's just auto down. But an auto up so you don't have to hold the button would be a nice feature.

Mine is auto-up, manual down on Driver. Passenger is manual-up/down. Our 2012 Highlander was same, driver auto-up only, all other windows were no-auto. This has been a constant for most vehicles I've owned.

Imagine my joy when we picked up the 2020 Highlander and all 4 windows were auto-up/auto-down. I really enjoy that.

I assume the motors are the same in our passenger and driver doors, so auto-up surely must be supported, and it'd be as easy as cannibalizing a few auto-up/down switches and swapping them out on the plate?

I wonder if getting parts from a Sequoia would work. Are the rear windows on them automatic as well?

If you don't clean 'em often, I think oily fingertips will make them even harder to see.

The sequoia will for sure work for the DC and add auto up/down to passenger window, but not rear windows.

Sadly, my sequoia rear windows hasn't worked since I got it, but I doubt it's auto down, the button looks exactly the same as the DC.

Here's my AC switch plate, just to complement that. Now I'm really curious how tough it'd be to swap over controls from a squaw or DC....

You guys think it's just the controls which enable auto? Or more to it than that?

Also, I got a mirror heater switch, though I only have 2 spots so now I have to decide if I'm maybe doing a single seat heater switch and a mirror heater switch or two seat heater switches. And this all hinges on getting my fog lights to the stalk (or maybe switch-pros is just f'ing easier for fog lights)

I wish that dude could 3d print us a few more oval blanks into the panel, it's got room for them if it were spaced a bit tighter.

That's good to know. The 100 series LC has all 4 auto window switches. I plan to try to see if this will fit/work soon in my DC.

The sequoia and DC have 4 switches so I don't think it would fit and from what I remember, it's all one piece.

A while ago I swapped from the sequoia to the DC to trouble shoot the switch and with the sequoia switch in the DC, the passenger window did auto up and down.

Sorry, going to pick your brains a little bit more...

So does your Tundy have auto-up on any of the windows with the stock switches? Mine doesn't.

I'll have to check the DC tonight, I thought it did, but now that you ask, it may just be auto down on the driver's side.

Thanks, that would be helpful... If it's just the Sequoia controls that make both windows into auto down and up, that should be fairly easy upgrade to do.

It wouldn't be too farfetched for that to be the case seeing as DC front doors and Sequoia front doors are the same I'm pretty sure.

I'm remembering mine as auto down on driver side, of course I'm a not-cool-like-the-DC-Sequoia-doppelganger-kids RC so likely no value in mentioning this :)
