Pretty much every single one of those is ripped off the wall at work. Then they try to switch between fan speeds like they are on a turn table and short out motors

 

Pretty sure cool factor doesn’t weigh on the scale of the Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore primordial ooze of existence rating.

 

I had a very slight "oh sh!t" moment when I saw 19. haha
I'm with you. I got one that programs M-F that I run day and night temps with as well as away at work. Then also got the weekend day and night temps. Simple and cheap and we're pretty much creatures of habit, especially with the kids. Not to mention, I have 2 AC units, so buying a fancy thermostat would mean 2xs as much.
Seeing this past year that companies were hacking into the wireless ones and turning them up/down to save energy without the customers knowing was a kinda shady deal too!

 

Only started after he got the chair, and we've messaged a few times after it has happened. We haven't figured out what button, but its definitely the massage chair

 

The worst part is if she's cold, she turns it up several degrees at a time because she can't understand the concept that you sometimes have to wait for things you want. She also wanders around in short sleeves and bare feet complaining that she's cold.

See, y'all are doing it wrong. I have the Nest thermostat and the app. I can be 150 miles away at work and check the temperature in the house. I can then turn it down if I see The Woman has turned it up too high. She then texts me to whine about being cold. I reply with something about building character. She turns the heat up. I turn it back down. Then I set off the Nest smoke detector test alarm...











...and fail because I have to be at home and connected to Wifi in order to run a test.

So I turn the thermostat right down and run the fan to cycle the cool air around the house.

 

I beg to differ...

 

@Azblue is practically part owner of the company with how much of his money is invested in these.

I was aware of the last motto, but was young and dumb. Thankfully it was my left hand that got sent thru the dough sheeter

Had a beer while troubleshooting my grill and talking to their support - which is local in Phoenix btw. I’m well out of warranty, but they’re sending me a new controller and temp probe (which I think I broke from using Traeger pellets and not cleaning after the last cook, causing a runaway fire…) free of charge. I’ll take that as a huge win today, even though I’ll have to hold off grilling for a few more days… props to Louisiana Grills support.

 

I stick my hand into a platter of hot chicken wings all the time....

 

Used to work with a guy that was missing about half of two fingers. Inevitably people would ask how he lost the ends of his fingers and he’d tell the story of checking the tightness on the chain of his go kart as a kid. Turns out the chain was tight.

 

Oh yeah, wings. All nice and warm and covered in slippery sauce dripping. I would love to stick my..., um, er, hand into some.

 

I can think of a number of places my hand will go that my pecker isn’t getting near… besides the distance factor.
