@0917 Good to know. Appreciate your input. I can live with the half mpg loss I just don't want it to feel like I'm riding a pogo stick..

I was worried about the same but have zero regrets. The rebound is where you can really feel the difference. Truck is much more planted and stable. The bridge thresholds used to bounce me out of the seat but with the 6112 it just absorbs and no bounce back. Good luck, let us know what you end up going with.

It's weird for me, same steps, I'm 6', and slide out. To high to step out, not functional enough to use to step. Imo

The rationale for changing out a gallon of coolant? LOL I guess it made me feel good. I came across another members post where he said he exchanged about a gallon of coolant out as part of his routine maintenance. I’m sure he doesn’t do it every oil change, but I think he may do it every 30 or 40,000?Honestly it’s probably a waste. By the time that coolant goes bad, it’s probably time for a new radiator hoses and a water pump anyways. But for under 20 bucks every 40,000, it didn’t hurt my feelings too much. Similar to me sucking out the fluid reservoir for the power steering twice a year. Just keeping a little fresh in the mix, similar to people just dumping 4 quarts from the transmission, as part of routine maintenance. I’m a little irritated with the brake fluid reservoir. On previous vehicles, I used to suck out the fluid and add fresh once a year, and save the bleeding/flushing for when I needed pads. This reservoir won’t allow me too get my turkey baster in there! I guess you can say, I’m a little anal but lazy at the same time. Instead of doing the big job and wanting to exchange all the fluid at once, I hope to prolong the life of all of it to extend the life of everything. These weird habits all started when I was a teenager.

I had a friend in high school with a 72 Chevelle. That thing leaked oil like a SOB. He never changed the oil, just the filter. It irritated me. But his oil did always look fresh.

I’m 6’ as well and it doesn’t feel totally natural to use them, I have to remind myself, but now that I’m in the habit it’s great.

    Mainly found replacement pieces.

I did paint the driver side and passenger side vent bezel. If I would’ve bought the bezel or the vent rings you could call it for the far left (driver) and far right side that would’ve cost 400 to $500 bucks.

Oh man! Good to know that it was just a joke. Yes I missed that by any amount. Lol. To tell you the truth I was pulling my hair as I was reading yr messages.
Many times is good to see things in different perspectives including the negative one. It has helped me understand other people. Im very glad that you were not serious about any of this.
    Have a blessed day.
