I bought one of the first run of the Midnight Black Metallic bumper caps and surround, just still have not got around to installing them yet. I will soon though! Keep up the good work guys!

 

Me too! I’ve been wanting to delete the chrome on my bumpers (and the grille/hood bulge area) since I drove off the lot. Can’t wait for these cement deletes! (I just signed up for notification on your site as well as watching this thread)

 

I have a 2019 attitude black tundra.. Is the gloss black close to this color? Or should I go with the matte black look? Does anyone have a picture of each?

@EC1 what do you suggest?

 

Installing mine today. Couple questions for those that have done the V2 install -

1. The shellz don’t actually tuck under the fog light bevel right?

2. Is this little gap common? I can’t seem to get the bottom flush so you don’t see chrome walking by. Suggestions?

 

So left them in the florida sun for a bit and did some more dry fits really focusing on getting the those areas to mold more in towards in the body of the bumper. there is still a tiny bit of chrome peaking through in the corners when you stand right above the bumper, but a lot better than before and nothing when you’re standing back away.

Definitely a more involved install than the rear, but still not too bad. Ratcheting wrenches are a must. Overall happy and the chrome is officially gone!

 

Don't see the chrome from afar, only up close you can see the chrome or when you really peak at it to notice the chrome?

 

if you look at my post right before you’ll see the angle I’m referring to. It’s the only angle I can see any chrome coming through. Take a step back and you don’t see it particularly after I actually installed them and got the gap closed up. It’s hardly noticeable, probably just cause I installed.

I had to point it out to my wife if that gives you any point of reference to how visible it is.

 

I finally got my grille surround done. Perfect amount of chrome now.

 

Has anyone put them on and had this much chrome showing? This was just dry fit i didnt tighten down anything. Will try again this evening

 

Has anyone had any issues with the hood bulge and grille alignment after doing a chrome delete?

 

I want this look for mine so bad!

 

WELP... sorry about the MIA-ness again guys. I did not die during my Mexico trip, and I know a lot of you were worried about that. I breezed through the posts quick, but please reach out to me if I missed your comment and/or message. I do have a date for a small CEMENT run that I'm going to slip into our paint schedule during Thanksgiving week before we get completely steamrollered by the holidays (Date and instructions will be posted Monday this coming week). Thanks for hanging in there guys! I did hire someone who is going to help keep on top of the forum since I am most likely going to personally be pulled away much more frequently.

 

there shouldn't be this much chrome showing. Hopefully customer service was able to help you through it at this point, but if you're still stuck, shoot me a message, and we'll figure out where it is getting hung up.

@EC1 I’m in for a set of Tundra front bumper covers in Magnetic Grey! I was on the site the other day and there was some available but now they’re gone

 

I completely miss about 10 calls a day right now haha. I have been on the phone for the last week straight since the SEMA show. Great seeing you by the way! We got cleaned out of MGM that week. We should have had enough for weeks more, but I think we just forgot about Christmas lol. We already have more material on order. I'll shoot you an expected arrival date when I know.

 

See above. Yeah, we are completely out of everything MGM but the Grilles for now, but we've got more material on order now. Sorry for the wait!

 

CEMENT PAINT-RUN DETAILS

I am able to get a small run in the week of Thanksgiving. This Friday, I will be posting a small quantity available on the website. It will be enough for about 6 people. I know that is very small, but it's all we have the bandwidth for right now, and I want to get some of our own painted parts out to you guys. Essentially what will happen is I will make a certain qty available on the website for pre-order at a specific time on Friday (3:00pm PST). Once those parts are purchased, that will be the end of the pre-order. Unfortunately, I can't do more than that right now with the amount of other projects we are involved in. I apologize to any of you guys that have been waiting forever and might have to wait a little bit longer until we get the process more nailed down, but this is definitely a priority for me so I promise we will get it going?

 

I just ordered the matte black front and rear bumper covers. I'll probably order the CEMENT covers when they're available and swap them out, but had to get something done for now. I am *definitely* eager to get the CEMENT grille surround and hood bulge as that'll be the last bit of chrome showing.

The main purpose behind this run is to test our processes for scaling OEM painting. I was able to get a couple more sets approved for sale, but the quantities are very limited. Timing on the actual painting of the parts is next week, but it will most likely take an additional week for the finishing processes. We will try to get them shipped as soon as possible, but please be patient as this will be our first batch done completely in house.
