I guess it would make more sense to have the same running gear. I would still opt for the 350 to have the capacity sticker.

So you have a Pro and a Tremor?

You guys are right it’s not close but I just want to compare apples to apples. How was the Tremor timed, under what conditions? Let’s get the Tundra in the same conditions and then it’s a good comparison. The Tremor is probably faster by a bit but let’s compare the right way perhaps?

Damn, I knew that that lock rear diff was a mistake option on the Platinum. Poop. But honestly, it's confusing: as a line item is says N/A while the 1794 has it offered in a package. But then it is presented as a package for both the plat and 1794...

I agree, I’m not getting the Pro unless is at least a second quicker than the standard. What’s the point then?

You also have to figure the weight that's being added on 600lbs for the hybrid is alot for only 48hp

600 more pounds to take away from your payload/towing and I normally don't look at 0-60 times in trucks but the difference between the gas and hybrid is negligible. If I am to buy this truck I will probably stick with the the Gas one. My needs have changed a little bit I only need a little more payload for stuff when we tow the Camaro to Camarofest or other fun stuff to where I can confidently get a 1500 series without worrying about going over payload while towing.

    More photoshop time!
Chaps, I present an Army Green SR5 TRD Off Road with a *COLOR MATCHED* grille surround that I photoshopped! I also blacked out the chrome Toyota emblem of the front. :)

I never knew 0-60 times were something truck guys we’re so concerned with. Always seemed like a joke more then a serious consideration.

If Toyota was smart, they would open a parts store that sells trim pieces and grills. They would make a killing lol

Nice job, looks way better. The chrome emblem doesn't really bother me, and gives a slight contrast to all the black.

    Can see the pictures now.

Don't shoot me but I think it needs just a little contrast. Maybe if you left the Toyota emblem chrome?

To be fair, in the TFL video I watched at the intro he used the word "capability" to describe the truck. He wasn't concerned with chasing numbers and having the best stats. He wants people to know that this truck is fully capabale of doing everything Toyota claims and doing it well and safely and reliably.
