I don't think that I can make them do anything, lol. I'm going to have to wait until I get a break in my work schedule, another two weeks or so. Meanwhile I'm reading up on the experiences that others have shared and getting ideas on how to proceed diplomatically to minimize friction in getting it sorted. I kind of want to research what dealer to deal with as well. In my mind, I'd naturally want one that both has seen this issue before and is intimately familiar with it, and has a high success rate of getting it repaired first try and in a timely fashion; as I'm sure anyone would want.

Stripped a couple of torque screws for removing the tail-lights. Replaced with standard screws instead.

What did you end up getting? I had mine on CL for a day, I was asking $400 and settled for $350 for my stock Michelins LTX2.

 I guess I wasn't very smart or patient then... 5700 miles. New, I thought I priced them at about $275 ea?? I haven't had any luck yet selling my wheels either... I had them on eBay and in 2 separate auctions I had lots of watchers but only 1 opening bid each time. Both times resulted in non paying bidders. Now I have to relist them again. Starting bid was at $1300...

Oh you sold your wheels and tires separately? I combined them...I checked around CL and started mine off at 900....
Had an offer for $700 the following day and I declined it...

Dropped to 725 (I knew I would take 650...I wanted them out of my garage) and had 3 hits in a day...first one came and bought them.

That makes more sense then if you sold them together. I was thinking your a pretty tough sale with a lot of patience... maybe so? :)

IMO it's easier to sell together. I had the tires sitting on my tool bench and if was taking up too much room.

I like how u parked where no vehicles can rear end you, again.

I always park my vehicle backed in, and away from others like that too.

please don't tell me sean is yet another to fall prey to Icrap devices...or am I missing something here? o_O

on a side note, I think I just work in a very bad street to be on...yesterday I heard a loud thump, walked outside and this car trying to pull out of the parking lot smashed into oncoming traffic... couple weeks ago about half a block from where I got rear ended another rear end accident!!! little car rear ends a suburban and jets out (uninsured I suppose). This is a predominantly Hispanic border town with many undocumented people so I think that has to do with the high number of uninsured :censored:..if you don't have full coverage you are in a deep :crapstorm:

Me too, more so because of the backup camera makes it so easy, and the fact that I can't gauge the actual whereabouts of my front end yet. I'm usually 2 feet away from where I feel I'm actually at.
