Almost had my cats stolen in AZ when passing through at a hotel. Got the same DE plate but not looking forward to those two rear bolts attached to the TRD skid plate!

They made one cut on the passenger side cat and cut the O2 sensor, then got scared off by something or someone thankfully. Got up in the morning turned on the truck to head back to NM and the truck sounded like a tracker.
It was a Sunday so nothing open but got lucky and one muffler shop was able to spot weld the pipe back together. PITA and set us back about 6 hrs on our trip but would have been a much worse scenario if they got the cats.7322B089-0ECA-4561-AD70-AB3ABEF5A388.jpg

I initially tried to install back in Feb and gave up until last weekend. I thought it'd be more secure if I drilled the holes that lined up with the skid plate but those skid plate bolts are a bitch if you take them all the way off. You have a pretty good chance of losing a spacer in the crossmember or whatever it's called.

Cutting slots in the DE plate and loosening the trd plate enough to slide it above it worked a lot better. You'll want to cut the slots big enough to fit around the spacers unless you figure out a way to get them to lift up when you are sliding the DE plate in. I also bought some of this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082F37WJH?ie=UTF8 and put it both sides of the plate where it'd be sandwiched, just to make sure I didn't hear any rubbing.

I didn't use any fancy bolts - I had one of the stainless security bolts freeze up on me back in February so I bought some regular replacement bolts from Lowes. Even if they can get the regular bolts free, they are still going to have to deal with the TRD Skid Plate bolts to have a chance of getting to my cats. I just don't see it.

Those are the Yakima HD overhaul truck bed rack system. Get the optional side bar horizontal bars as they add a 100# load capacity. The rack holds max 800# non moving/stagnant, 500# road, 300# off-road. Get the Tundra base plate to mount on either the factory side rails or the cover bed adapter. Has so many options go to Yakima.com for details

I have to admit, I got lucky and snagged the rack and crossbars on sale on Amazon a few months ago.
I got the basket at REI while evacuated to Houston area and I would check them.

Edit: just checked out of curiosity and they have them!

    Lots.
Installed my onboard air system. Purchased an ARB CKMTA12 Twin compressor and the SDHQ firewall mount for it. Wired the leads directly to the battery and stripped down the switch wiring harness to just the purple trigger wire and connected to my Switch Pros SP-9100 system. I wanted to install a modified "Wifey" air system with fender well connections and intend to later add air horns.

    https://www.amazon.com/ARB-CKMTA12-Board-Performance-Compressor/dp/B0050DI9YQ

    https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/07-21-toyota-tundra-arb-air-compressor-mount-kit

Since my SP-9100 is mounted to a Power Trays mount on my engine compartment fuse box I had to come up with a location to securely mount the distribution manifold for the air up/down function. After much consideration I found the best place for me to install it would be to the top of the compressor fan mount. There was plenty of room and clearance for the mounting bolts for the block and it in no way interferes with the operation of the compressor. I took a piece of .125 x 3" aluminum flat bar, fabbed up a mount and painted it gloss black.

    IMG-1303.jpg

    IMG-1305.jpg

    IMG-1304.jpg

I ordered all of the individual components for the the air distribution system separately instead of purchasing the "Wifey" kit from Rago Fabrication, mainly because I could get upgraded parts for the same price (or less). I used a Viair 9280 6 port manifold with mounting holes so that I could easily secure it to the mount. I used lock washers and Red Loctite to secure the manifold bolts to the mount I made due to the heat and vibration of the compressor while in use. This manifold is the only aluminum part I used, opting for solid brass connections for the Legris sleeve/slide valve and on all other air line parts. I assembled the manifold on my work bench and tested all of the connections to it for leakage with my garage compressor before installing it in the truck so as to not be torquing on the mounted compressor. I included an ARB quick connect chuck to allow for a standard air hose to be connected from the front of the vehicle.

As I mentioned before I used all brass fittings, including the air line push in connections and Tees instead of the plastic ones that are susceptible to heat damage and are rated for less air pressure. I'm sure the plastic fittings work fine but I opted for the metal ones out of an abundance of caution. I also chose red nylon brake tubing, in keeping with the color scheme of my truck, that is rated to 362 psi and 248 degrees. I was very careful to route the tubing along the frame and wiring mounts and to keep well clear of the exhaust pipe and other heat sources.

I used Rago Fabrication Tundra air chuck mounts in the fender wells. IMG-1317a.jpg

    IMG-1319a.jpg

    IMG_1321.jpg

After finishing the install I checked every connection for leaks, aired down to 18 pounds and aired back up again. The system works great and I'm looking forward to using it for a long time.
