I enjoyed all calculus 1,2, and 3. Be ready cuz Calculus 2 and 3 are not easy. Practice, practice your math, work on derivatives/integrals. Differential Equations is even tougher, I remember it being heavy on integration (I’m not sure if it’s required for Electrical Engineers tho)

So my kids are heavy. I got a bunch of flats with the old tires. I upgraded to 3” wide e-bike tires. They ride higher, more ground clearance, and so far no flats. Stoked there.

But the frame itself, it flexes a lot with 150+ pounds in it. With road / sidewalk camber it pulls hard to the right most of the time. A stiffer frame at those rear joints seems like it’d alleviate a bunch of that. Right now it flexes and then the tires lean and the whole thing pulls. At least I’m getting a good upper body workout.

The intent is to somehow add more significant bracing. So those corners are fixed. Even on a slight angle of the surface.

Weld some 1/8" flat bar across them if they don't move.

Yeah, that’s what I think I’d like to do, only I have never welded and own no welding equipment. Seems like it might be worth doing though, to extend the useful lifespan of this rig.

Alright so I didn’t think that one through. Went to put my spare tire under the truck. Bought a 5th 285/75/16 and it touches the exhaust on both sides of the tire. Stupid freakin duals.

This is exactly what I was going to recommend - basically between the span where the zip ties are, just long enough to hold the outer verticals in/out enough the tires aren't pulling.

Outside of that, the only thing I can think to do would be beefing up the axle with more stout solid rod so there's not chance for it to flex.

You're not going to be able to weld that. The metal they used - I'd be shocked if it was steel - but either way it's so thin you'd blow right through it trying to weld anything significant onto it. I doubt it's even 20ga steel tubing.

Yes, those happen to be two favorite past-times of some members here.

What were we talking about again?

Oh yeah. I'm curious if there's any adjustability for the three different color items highlighted here.

Those red triangles, any ability to adjust that piece, rotate the far right rivet upward, rotating the triangle inner points up?

The green bar, any way to (a) adjust which notch it's in to adjust the geometry of things or (b) shorten or lengthen it so it adds positive camber?

The orange threaded bar, any adjustment here that could improve the situation?

Ah yes those. The guys at my dads work have those. Not opposed to them, just not sure my breaker and torque will fit in those.

Backpack could be the move, only thing that I dont like about backpacks is that torque wrench and breaker love to slide around and pull the zipper down. You guys have any links?

So I think this is the one I have for work, I like it a lot better than my Klein one at home
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/264285228229

This is the Klein one which works too.
    https://www.amazon.com/Electrician-Tradesman-Klein-Tools-55421BP-14/dp/B00MK9UY0A?hvadid=309763890402&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16045520749225410131&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030244&hvtargid=pla-433110105094

Both of them have pretty good zippers that take some force to get them open, which can be a good thing in your case maybe.

That’s pretty expensive for the Milwaukee one. Shouldn’t be more than 90.00 or so. I’ve got one in my garage that I should actually use at some point.

Price is slightly high on the Klein one.

They make 3-on-the-tree much worse than it actually is. But the rest of this, I confirm, is appropriately told.

Nice! My boss headed to overland west and I'm sure all I'll get brought back is a project before overland east :)

    Haha how nice of him!
My buddy who went said it was absolutely insane with cool rigs, 50% of them he had never even seen before!
I’ve used my arb strap but not for a snatch, just to get a little help up a hill. But it’s nice knowing you won’t rip your frame off from a little tug.
