Haven’t heard that before. Then again whenever I’m cleaning my vehicles I use a uv spray 303 or didyourcar has one “Dip Coat use after dipping” and it works really well. Never had an issue. That was for several years in the Texas heat.

I went with the less expensive, easier to install SDHQ since I don’t “really” off road.

I didn’t do it but my friend is a mechanic for a Toyota dealership and plugged a nail hole, tire rotation and alignment for me. Nice having friends that do side work and all the equipment to do so

essentially just extends the stock vent that sits right off the diff about maybe 2 inch, has potential to seize up from what I read ... so this just relocates it higher incase of water crossing or flooding where diff could be submerged for any length of time risking water entering the diff. I did it for peice of mind as my Rams have always had them up high

Nice, I got those same covers and they do the job. I love SDHQ products but its strange seeing an SDHQ product described as "less expensive" lol.

Great that’s what I’m looking for, I’m trying to decide this one or the Toyo Open Country a/t III

Right now the big box store near me has $150 discount going on the Bridgestones so I’ll probably do that deal. Just wish they actually had them on hand so I could really see it first. Your picture helped a lot. Thanks

Oh and your fender flares, are they right out of the box or did you paint them matte black? I got a set of the Bushwacker 30917-02 OE style ones and just temporarily mounted, only like 2 screws, so I could stand back and look at it to decide, but with them black it made the truck look like it just had this Huge wheel well. So I think I’m going to color match them.

Thing is tho I have a Cement truck same color as yours and they look really nice on your truck. So not sure why mine just didn’t look as good so I thought maybe you had them dipped or painted.

Like the grille too! I’m picking that same one up Monday from the parts dept but I’m not sure if I’ll use it or insert my limited grille into the color matched surround. Guess I’ll have to temporarily install it and stand back and have a look then decide. Decisions……Decisions……Decisions……

If I did any hardcore off roading, I would have put the Jomax on at more than twice the cost.

Got a couple things done this afternoon including drivers side grab handle (thank you @Bradleybb) and rago dash mount (thanks @Oats87). I pulled the front grille off to mount the front camera for the frac harness (thanks @okcowboy), but will need to pick up a right angle attachment for my drill because I can't get where I need to make the hole. I was hoping to tackle the frac harness at the same time as the rago, but ran out of light. I was able to get the rca fed through the nipple on the firewall which is probably the hardest part. I just need to mount the camera and then plug in the frac harness and run the wires for the switches. Hoping to finish tomorrow if I can find the time. Still have a few more items that have been sitting for a while to install as well. Stay tuned...
