I've been eyeing that mini for a while. I was also looking at the wiring harness that piggybacks onto the mirror so it can be hardwired right there.

My wife once got me a cycliq rear camera for the bike. It’s nice. Does ANT and interfaces with Garmin head units. Ultimately a bit more hassle than I’d like. Ironically the EBike has no USB port. Charging and connecting it becomes a hassle. No real benefit to me. I think I feel the same about a dash cam. Maybe I can be convinced. I’m sure it’d be nice in the event of an incident.

Any Toyota dealer. They're cheap. Just wait until you place another order and throw them in your cart.

If you get one there's hardwire kits out there. One in the Durango uses the OBD port for power, the one in the Tundra uses the power outlet.

Both have batteries for recording if the vehicle is off and they detect impact.

I have a nexar beam in the Silver truck. I used to upload videos all the time when I was driving it a lot. Some of my deer videos as seen in this Playlist are from the dash cam. If they "Nexar" in the top left corner they are from the dash cam. A lot of my earlier videos are grainy because I was figuring out how to upload as discussed more in depth in the paragraph below.

One problem I encountered, and contacted support about was not being able to upload directly to YT. Support tried, but I think they misunderstood my issue as I explained my process for uploading videos. Upload the dash cam clip to my cloud. Download from the cloud to my phone. Trim the length of the video and then upload to YT.

Another gripe I had that has been FIXED was that clips created from your full drive could only be 90 seconds long. They've changed that, but I'm not sure how much longer clips can be now.

Syncs right up to an app on your phone. You do all your viewing of the video on your phone.

This video below was a good, honest review of it. Keep in mind that this video is now 11 months old. Some things have been changed, and updated since then.

Make sure you go over every inch. I'm always suspicious when someone is selling for significantly less than everyone else.

I guess I'm just used to 2021 pricing. I'm not even sure if KBB can account for the insanity in the used truck market right now. But I see your point. Hopefully everything checks out and you get a sweet deal!

Been in the emails with McGeorge. Shipping is $7!!!!!

Asked about buying them, and then just dropping them in the big box because the camshaft sensor is supposed to arrive there, and be shipped out today.

    Nope. Can't do that. Lol

After this latest round of bullshit from them, I think I'm done with them for a while. The last guy I spoke to on the phone was completely uninterested in helping me. I'm going to try Rusty Wallace or the one in Alabama(Decatur maybe?).

From the cigarette lighter adapter it does, yes.

But I have a hard-wire kit for the dashcam. I planned to wire dashcam and mirror up at the same time, since they'll ultimately be tapping power from the same place, I suspect. I just haven't gotten off my ass to do it.

I'm highly motivated to do the dashcam, if you hard-wire it using Garmin's kit, there's a vibration sensor in the power module that will wake up the camera and start recording if it senses motion while parked.

So here's a question for the group. I know a lot of us have trucks that reportedly shipped with dinky 245 tires. I know Toyota says that's what my truck came with. The 265's were dealer add-ons? Would this mean that our odometer/speedometer was calibrated to the 245 tires and thus, been off since new?

I imagine you can probably find the part on eBay in packs for a small amount of coin and tinier shipping. I'll look later and get back to you.
4th Gen? Even if still 3rd, the 2022 looks f'n ridic. Looks like an angry catfish to me with that big, blunt flat face and mouth.

Yup. I use Pi-Hole on my network and deal with this sometimes. I prefer the websites who give you options to 'disable', you can pick the 'CM Browser' on most and it lets you continue. It's just a phase, I think. It'll end soon All the news sites are doing it now also.

Give Serra Toyota of Decatur in AL a shot. I think you'll really appreciate them. They're no-BS and even promptly emailed me when they suspected a part was wrong on my order, then promptly cancelled after we chatted. I didn't need to lift a finger. Fast ship times. Yes, you will pay about 1-2% more than McGeorge, Serra has low prices, not the lowest, but the service (I think) makes up for it.

Many of the models (TRD included) came factory with 265/70/16 tires instead of the 245/70/16. Both are 70 series, so the 245's are shorter. Not sure on the calibration options for the speedo from the factory.

@Tundra2 I can't find any place to get the clips shipped cheaper, but I'm happy to order a handful for pickup from my local dealership and snail mail a few over to you if you want.

Let me know how many you need and I'll set everything up.

It's weird. I believe the sticker on my door jamb says 245 and so does my VIN info online but it seems you are correct. I guess I'm just wondering how they calibrated it.
