Didn't know a weather radar was buried in the menus.

It's real time but doesn't have the slide show feature. I've always wondered why Google Maps doesn't have weather overlaid their maps like this. Would be nice to see if you're driving into a storm.

Do you have to use a techstream to modify the locking features, mine has a few that I find extremely annoying...

You can get the weather map fast while driving by pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel, wait for the beep, and say "Show weather map." It'll show upon the screen unless it is still downloading info from the radio waves. I use this feature often during our monsoon seasons.

This is my favorite, I had absolutely no idea about this! Wish I would have had this for my recent trip. Anyway to save this as an app on the main screen?

I can’t manually lock my driver door. If I do, it unlocks when I shut the door. Only the FOB or the passenger front door can lock it up.

You mean locking from the button inside the driver's door? I'll have to try that.

If it doesn't, it's a safety designed to protect you from locking your key in the car. Not sure why that would be something you'd want (or need) to do, but replacing a battery on the fob is cheaper than a locksmith.

My old Sequoia had the same feature…I was able to lock it if I held the door handle on the inside in the open position when I pushed the lock button. Not the best description but hopefully gets the point across.

Oh it’s a real PITA when I want to lock the door and don’t have my key fob with me. I don’t like the feature

Might already be posted but found out mine has auto engine shutoff after idle in park for about 20 minutes or so. Freaked me out a bit when it happened but apparently it's on some 20 and 21s.

I almost always listen to iphone playlists instead of the radio. Can’t stand commercials. Today, after 3 1/2 yrs, I was listening to a local FM station and discovered I could pause a song, start it over, and then hit Live after any commercials are over.

Strangely enough my favorite feature has to be the soft opening tailgate. It just never gets old...I guess until the struts too old.

    Simple mind. Simple pleasures.

This "Feature" can be disabled by the owner, directions are in the owners manual. I personally don't like this feature as I am afraid I will get locked out when unloading the bed.

Yes there is a way to put it on your Main Screen. I have on mine. I'm still at work but will post up the flow path on settings when I get home to my truck late tonight. If I forget I'll post it up tomorrow.

Oh yeah! Are you the poor dude that hit the back of a car or something recently?

Found your post on the accident. Pulled right out in front of you...

    Sorry about that!

    Fixes itself!

Throughout my entire ownership the driver door has never locked or unlocked with the others...And I've been too lazy to remove the door panel and check things out.

Well, the other day it decided to play nice again and work as intended.

I assume a loose harness or something, but just kinda funny.

Also, the headlight delay can be overridden by pressing lock twice from the fob.

First press locks all doors (finally) and the lights remain on. A second press turns the lights off before their 60sec programing

Yep. The AC dries the air and de-fogs windows which is especially important in the damper climates

At 5'4 Im a short little Elf, Gnome, Midget! I just got this tundra and the side mirrors were in the way of me seeing anything left or right in front of me. I was looking at jackers or wood blocks to raise the seat up. My wife said to me "use the button"

Anyone know if the strut is a warranty item? Mine opens slightly softer than a non damped tailgate. Would definitely make a thud if I just let it go.
