See I had the same thought - All black truck, with red tow hooks out front. Eventually will have the red TRD sway bar too. My thought was if I don't like the red, I'll just platidip it. Would love to eventually have black tails and no Chrome up front too, but with a newborn, highly unlikely now haha.

My son was in town this weekend and he drives my older 4Runner, so took the opportunity to clean it up a bit as well as my Tundra and the wife's SUV. Glad I got it all done in the morning, we have been having some serious HEAT in Richmond VA which will continue the next week or so.

Same question. Since my TRD won't have the optional cargo lights this would be a great mod. Even better if it work's like the cargo light.

By default, the kit is wired to a switch in the bed. But it would be easy enough to wire them to the cargo light switch instead - you would just need to splice and extend the wires and run them up into the cab. You can download the instructions for the SET "factory" cargo lights from Sparks' website and sort of follow that routing, or make up your own.

I used the "factory" lights for my truck, but also added a switch in the bed. That way the primary power is coming from the cargo light (per the factory setup), but they don't come on unless I also have the switch in the bed turned on.

On that first one, do you know where the power draws from? I see it says bedside switch but I don't see where it says it powers from.

The battery. That allows you to turn the lights on (via the switch) with the truck completely off.

Go to “Jomax custom” they are at least 4x stronger than OEM. If your gonna upgrade your suspension might as well do it right

I had the one that came with the truck. What does your bumper look like? If it's aftermarket and has an opening for a winch, they make adapters

Fuel pump recall and alignment. PO had put TRD Pro suspension on and not done an alignment. Should be good for 300k now with regular maintenance. :)

Drove it out of warranty. Only used it once for a parking brake adjustment. Solid build.

Installed and setup the Ultragauge mx1.4. The 2016+ codes didn’t work but used the 2012-15 codes and can see the trans pan and post torque converter temps.

Apparently you can wire it to the cargo light but I just used the regular switch connected directly to the battery.
